Mine thankfully went away with consistent use of Cerave Healing Ointment. I apply it especially before and after brushing my teeth. I think toothpaste might be the cause for me or it makes it worse. The ointment protects my skin from getting irritated. I can't remember if I used hydrocortisone with it. Maybe only a few times. I was also prescribed MetroCream but I don't know why I didn't stick with it. I think I only used it once and stopped. It has been a few years since I had a bad case of perioral dermatitis. I was still using petrolatum ointment daily as preventative. However, these days I switched to Prequel Skin Utility Gel since it's less oily and shiny.
I have impetigo. It looks like perioral dermatitis. But the difference is that the blisters can pop if you’re twitching your nose or mouth. That results in a liquid that forms to yellow crust when dried and that’s considered shedding and can be contagious. I’m on an antibiotic pill called cephalexin for 7 days because the topical ointment Mupirocin couldn’t be used longer than a week. The ointment helped a lot but the problem was at its minimal. I see a difference with the cephalexin but the problem still lingers and I need to be on the pills 2 days longer. The impetigo is in my nostrils, nose, the bridge of the nose,smile lines, and under the lip and to the left and right side of the outer lining of the lip. The antibiotic pills have reduced the spread to my cheeks and near the eyelid next to the eyebrow.

But I just couldn’t put it into words.. my clothes are great but they’re literally the same thing but in different colors haha so I don’t have any variety! My doctor has diagnosed this but it doesn’t present exact as I see in photos online. Anyone else get a rash but also sores that almost resemble spots with pus that are really sore ?
I have a raging case of Perioral Dermatitis. Took over a month for a doctor to give me the Metronidazole gel, only because the 4th diagnoses was rosacea.. It's definitely helped it calm down and be less red. But it is NOT completely getting rid of it. I've been using it for over a week and the rash it less angry, but still definitely spreading. I came here looking for another solution, desperately, and turns out it's what I'm already doing.. that isn't helping 😞
Is there anything you wouldn't have brought with you or brought less of? I'm leaving in a couple weeks and trying to be as minimal as possible but it's so difficult!

I’m always shocked about how many pairs of jeans people have. I have one white pair, one black pair and one cream And one dark blue pair. That seems like a lot to me. I don’t even wear jeans that much. I prefer a wide leg linen which I have in white black and navy. I think you have way too many pairs of jeans, but that’s just my opinion.
Yeah you are more simple at least with your bottoms. Maybe you add flair with jewelry. Like your category is more general and you have 3 of each ...But I also follow a 2- 3 of each rule but I have crop jeans, skinny jeans, wide leg jeans, cargo jeans, straight jeans, distressed jeans, acid wash jeans, colored jeans, etc. I think I have 15 pairs of jeans .
IM BACK! It’s been about a year since I found this video.. I’m currently sipping on my second cup of coffee today perioral dermatitis free thanks to this video. All I use is the avene crème after I shower and it works! Thank you so much. My sister would have loved you, she was ms.sacramento. Before if I vaped or drank coffee I would flare up SO bad… I always had the redness around my mouth and my nose…
