These are the same Men that came back to working in the trades my, 70 yr old carpenter friend said they were the best builders you could ever work with
Loved listening to the radio in dads 67. Simply pressing the brake and partially holding in the 4 way flasher powered the radio. Cool feature when your a kid with friends and your dad has the keys

Thank god no one can 'buy' elegance let alone 'restore' it. To me these events are like costume parties on golf courses where everybody appears in expensive mockup Ludwig XIV gear. It is probably the furthest point from the intentions which drove an artist and mondain like Ettore Bugatti. Tempi Passati.
Interesting that in 1953, despite all the Motorama hype, GM styling was not nearly as streamlined, modern, and lower profile as FoMoCo offerings... but that would change in 1954 and 1955
This is really cool. I’m 66 and my Neighbor when I was a Boy worked for Fisher Body. He helped designed the Cadillac Fleetwood . He told me the best stories about his Job.
When was this program made? There's a Buick history tape like this floating around too. Love Buick and Lincoln and all, but would sure like to know where the Cadillac one is.
This was the time in America history when every single American was happy.24 hours a day.Just listen to that cheerful background music that proves the point
Y’know , I worked at a firetruck/ambulance factory for 21+ years (1987 - 2009). They put out a film much like this. It looked great. But the real story on the assembly line was quite different. Inspections and defect corrections were nothing more than exercises in pencil whipping. By the time a typical firetruck/ambulance made it to the end of the assembly line , there was an average of 250 defects that had to be corrected. Before that in the early 1980s I was a junior mechanic at two General Motors dealerships. It took on average 2 1/2 hours to correct all that was wrong with those cars from the factory.
It is ugly, but that’s what makes this suv beautiful and it looks and drive better than a lot new suv”s . The most ugly thing is mpg. But I drove 2018 Escalate 50k miles, and my 2006 Hemi with 190k is more smoother than Cadillac. Even the Escalate owner told my that.
No ONE understands the depth of this war. The palestine shit isn't a domestic fight. Vietnam is a deep wound on all of us who are American. IT LASTED FOR 20 YEARS ppl....
The stag was a great product and the engineers were superb just the bean counters and the nobs that assembled the engines and serviced them Weren’t good enough sadly it could have been Bl’s best seller along with the XJ6 😢
