I saw they were using what looked like a concrete saw for cutting the green. How well does that work? What kind of blade/model etc Thank you very much for your videos
Hi!! It is not an issue for our homeowner. When I designed the build, I made sure to keep MORE THAN sufficient air flow. One of those ways is the height of the cross beam in that area. Some of that responsibility also falls on the homeowner, to not make HUGE fires in the grill, which he never does. Thanks for watching and for the question!!
Thank you. It looks awesome and would love to do something similar. I just fear with the live fire, it could be an issue but with it being right on the edge and the peak it looks like problem solved
@@dmwozniak1 the counter height is 34”…the bottom of the crossbeam is at 96”…the ceiling peak is 144”…the top of the SM is taller than you would think, so it LOOKS closer to things than it really is…most of the cooking is done at regular countertop height, and the wood doesn’t have that much “fire” coming off, it burns down to more of a “charcoal” kind of burn, but it’s still hot…
how much did this job cost, and how much flex either way would be expected depending on extra dirt removal, bad dirt, pre-work done, etc.....seems like the most important part of this video is missing or maybe I missed it.
Well that's because every job is different and why you have someone come out and quote you. No one is going to give you a firm price without seeing the area they're going to be working in first.
We live in Georgia and about to put in a putting green. What carpet manufacturer did you use? Is that Nicklaus Golf turf? Forever Lawn? Can you tell me the dimensions? Have your clients noticed having problems with the seams? Thanks for the information.
Beautiful just beautiful I dream of owning a house of my own and being able to build it up I’ve been building a handy man business with my brother so maybe when that takes off I’ll be able to work on my own home
Thank you for the compliment my friend! But yeah, the entire project was well north of that amount… it it’s simply because, like the video says, SLOPE and it’s a BIG KITCHEN…the roof line is 20’x24’
Yes, the safe, chill house. This was such a blessing as a kid. We didn't have to deal with peer pressure or drive. We could pick which kids came over, vs. going to some DBag filled rager, being in danger.
Looks Awesome. Just too bad you aren't out here in Calif.!! I need to do my back patio (around a Tagwood Santa Maria) and it's tough to find designers/contractors.
If I were building a house, I would definitely consider including an outdoor kitchen. Makes little sense to run an oven or deep fryer or even an air fryer inside an air conditioned house.
Hey! The freeze thaw cycles here are nowhere near what the north experiences, but we do still have them! So, over the years, we haven't seen a HUGE difference, ANY really, with the base materials, when it comes to putting greens. What we have started to see, with all of the rain in the last few years, is that the 57 stone base helps us manage ground water better.
