@Averagecamping to be honest I just started collecting them and cleaning them up back to glory just the American made ones. I am a spinning reel person but conventional and level winds have there use
Does the curve in the rod change when you rotate it? Seems like there's a lot of fibreglass in the tip which makes it more flexible and probably stronger and heavier . You can give it to me if you decide you're not keeping it .
@vikingrbeerdserkr8406 man you act like people don’t cook on nonstick pans all the time, perhaps if you’re primitive AF and need steel or iron lmao. It’s fine for people who don’t wanna season or constantly take care of their griddle. This thing sits in my truck and never needs any upkeep. 😂😂
@@Averagecamping I get it, that's what I'm saying, it's for your average joe who doesn't really care about making glfood as best as it can be, they just want easy.
@@felixfelicis5574 so I got a 3k size Fuego and a 4k size Daiwa Saltist. This reel feels like a more sturdier Fuego in my opinion. And I think it’s mainly due to the material used on this reel. Def feels closer to a 3k than a 5k though.
@@REEDhoman I’m sorry but I don’t understand your question, you mean how do you lay the line on to the reel as you’re reeling it in? If that’s what you’re asking: you essentially use your thumb that you’re holding the rod with to do it.
C'est tellement facile avec une canne à pêche 🎣 laisser les requins tranquille c'est des animaux très beau et très charmante alors SVP laisser ses poissons tranquille merci.
Non-stick top? No, thanks. I see Blackstone finally figured how to get rid of that wind robbing gap. I cannot understand why it took so long, seems obvious. My guess not going with stainless was a weight saver. I guessing for someone storing a griddle in an unheated camper for months unused, not having to deal with rust might be an advantage. Personally, I want my smash burgers stuck to the top. I rather have the upkeep, be able to cut, chop, whack meats apart on the stainless, with extreme prejudice.
Bro been so busy with work, but I took the reel out fishing in Mexico. Got on some halibut, corvina, trigger fish with it. Reel is really nice, casted super well and the drag sounds good. I’m def keeping the reel in my arsenal, it also feels super sturdy. I’ll make a video in the near future. Going back to Mexico to fish the ocean again in a couple weeks.
@TheLegendaryTaco where yall going fishing bro? Depending on how much saltwater exposure you may get, look into the KAPSTAN SE. I made a video of that reel as well. It’s IPX6 rated so more waterproof compared to the Spartacus but also a bit more $
The box and packing materials are costly, and how the heck kastking makes a profit? 500 bucks shimano Twin Towers come with a plastic bag and a small cardboard inside a firmly box.
@@tripledelight8104 via direct to consumer or only selling through Amazon. I’m assuming they don’t have to pay the big corporations to be the middle man.
@@Averagecamping LOL. I wetsuit for striped bass and one night while walking out in our wetsuits swimming to rocks me and my friends were talking about building custom rods and how we were going to make them as light as we possibly could buying titanium torzite guides blah blah blah and one of the old timers said "why are you spending so much $ to make the rods 1oz lighter......are you building them for yourselves or you're wife's" cut like a knife right though butter. Too good not to now use against someone else 😂 I still bought the titanium torzite guides. They weighed less which made our lamiglas gsb recover faster ECT but the old man was right at the end of the day.
