yeah its unfortunate but thats just how architecture is these days its cheaper and easier to run mep, etc. the goal is just to make it as believable as possible bc if no one knows it might as well be legit
The small vertical pipes drastically reduce the need for massive steel beams. I am sure that the architect did n’t want to compromise, but financial reality is a thing. Also, the massive beams would’ve affected the roof line.

Elderly house? The entrance has stairs! And they are uneven! Falling risk increases as you age and it kills people, this home is not made with ageing in mind.
Elderly = old or aging, not dead ! My mom was still living independently in her 2 storey house at the age of 90, she moved to a one level retirement home at 91 and is still going, she is elderly… but very much alive
