Yeah, for sure. Should have could have would have "back-rolled" this with a partner: spray painting a wide fan .647 - could have "dropped" the floor easily with pretty much anything ; even as simple as a one time use thick .MM painters plastic
I just wanted to add a note to anyone considering AquaGaurd: it’s not that water resistant. I installed 100sqft in my hall way then took a scrap and threw it in a bucket of water overnight, it swelled on the edges but like any other laminate. In addition, the tounge and groove system is garbage, they actually sheer and separate leaving tiny gaps in your floor that water can easily get into. I thought this was install error at first, but all the sample panels at Floor & Decor had this little groove problem too. Honestly, at roughy $3/sqft, you may want to consider something else. Yes it’s beautiful, but for the price, I personally have my regrets and unsure if I’ll continure this floor into the kitchen and living room like I originally planned. Oh and you think getting F&D to honor their warranty is easy? Read the forums.
This room took about 2 to 2 1/2 hours on video - but there is behind the scene work you do not see in the video. For example setting up and breaking down all of the tools and cleaning up. Plus can you imagine how long it took to haul all of the material up eight flights of stairs? ... ok we used the elevator.
