The way she fell in love with him again this season is the best thing in season 3 He helped her without her asking all season and was the most important person in her life so she couldn't help but grow feelings for him even deeper than before The moment of realization that she loves him in 3×21 is so heart-warming
Nathan knew all along she and Lucas were the perfect match for each other She looked disappointed when Nate said you and Lucas because she knew they could've been more but the circumstances were against them
Peyton almost had him give in for a moment The love declaration and the kiss shattered his heart and he could barely think what to say So he decided to go to Lindsey to run from Peyton again I hate that he had to cheat on his gfs to know he still wanted Peyton though If he missed her and wanted her that bad he could've just told her instead of hiding and burying his feelings
I really don't get it One night she said he proposed out of the blue and he was insecure And the following night she said she should've said yes I get they had things to say and needed to spit them out but if she really regretted turning down his proposal why play around and say he gave up on you? You literally said no and that was enough to break his heart

She was his first love and he was hers as well They had to end things bcz of Brooke although they knew they were the best for each other It sure hurt as hell for both of them to imagine what they could've had if things didn't get complicated I remember Peyton saying to Ellie about Lucas "there was,there is this guy that I loved and I let him go and now I'm starting to think it was a big mistake but it's too late" then Eliie said it's never too late Had Ellie been there in S1 I think Peyton would've taken her chances and stayed with Lucas Anyways they are the best couple on the show despite everything they went through
Dammit really I can't imagine how far could Lucas and Peyton go in their relationship through the seasons if Brooke never found about them in S1 They are the most famous in the show already but it would've been crazy to have them full time considering their chemistry, emotional connection and their deep passionate conversations. They are the best at showing their love for one another.
For once a couple that has chemistry,connection,mutual attraction,romance,sexual tension and a healthy relationship or similar thinking I haven't seen that in the best couples of many shows
The thing is he always wanted Peyton And that's why he broke up with Brooke twice and Lindsey left him in the altar bcz of that He cheated on all his gf with Peyton but didn't do that with her cuz she was the one
How was Peyton ok with them meeting 3 times in a year? It's difficult for their relationship to work like that so they should be living together or engaged to solve this problem So if she doesn't wanna get married bcz they're young that's ok Then she should've said yes to move back to TH or for Lucas to live with her in LA But she didn't wanna get married or for him to move to LA So it was a No and she admitted that she should've said yes and I'm glad she admitted that and dreamed about saying yes Lucas was scared of losing her so he proposed and she didn't expect that But anything other than yes is a No It was best they talked and came up with a solution and they should've looked up for someone in the same situation like Nathan and Hayley who sorted it out and lived togther and someone has to sacrifice for that and it sure wasn't Peyton so it can be Luke but when he offered to give up his life she turned that down too So there was no point if they continued like that It was a very complicated situation but they didn't need to break up like that That was cruel for Peyton to wake up finding out he's gone and left the CD for her
Brooke always gets in the way Just get over yourself and Let Lucas and Peyton be together Their love story at the first season was epic but Brooke ruined it
So peyton learns from her mistake and she stays away from Lucas and tells Brooke she still has feeling for Luke and yet she's the bad guy here Brooke acted out of jealousy and fear to her BFF who didn't want to her hurt her again or be with Lucas She was just honest about it so she doesn't have to hide anymore and decide what they should do about it Brooke who slept with Nathan when he was with Peyton can't play saint and hit her BFF I'm glad that Peyton set her self free after that and acted on her feelings towards Lucas like this hug her was a love hug not from peyton Lucas's friend but yet she didn't tell him she loves until eventually he broke up for good with Brooke
She was scared to die without him knowing that she still loves him and she couldn't help it even if he's with Brooke again bcz She's one who fell for him first and he's a good friend for her since then and she feels comfortable and safe with him And all these moments where he saved her made hard for her not be in love with him even though she loved Jake too but what she and Lucas had is way deeper and stronger than what she feels for anyone else
She wanted to be with him so bad but Lucas being himself can't get himself to admit he loves her so he completely ignores her war of words and goes on a suicidal proposal to Lindsey as if it would make him happy
Lucas must've been on drugs in S5 From Peyton telling him that his art matters refering to his line back in S1 and that inspires h to write from midnight to the whole morning Bro goes argue with Peyton about how she rejected his proposal whereas he has a girlfriend And he has a girlfriend but still makes out with Peyton although he can't tell her he still loves her which she asked him so instead of telling Peyton the truth he was scared tp he hurt again He writes a love story between him and Peyton using the car name and acts out as it's nothing And then goes on to propose to Lindsay because Peyton hurt him I don't get it 😂
He claims he is in love with Brooke and loves Peyton at the same time But the thing is he connects easier with Peyton and they love each other from the deepest of their hearts It's pretty obvious since season 1
Brooke, was the one who told Peyton to kiss Lucas in front of everyone at Dan’s birthday party. Why she did that I have no idea. Brooke, knew that Lucas and Peyton had feelings for each other before she started dating him but decided to pursue him anyway despite the fact that Lucas was in love with Peyton and you can’t just blame Peyton for the cheating also blame Lucas he wanted Peyton first but then after she turned him down he decided to date Brooke because she’s easy and not as difficult as Peyton. The love triangle between Peyton, Brooke, and Lucas was ridiculous but I’m glad that it got better in season 3 because Brooke realized that her and Lucas weren’t meant to be together after all it was supposed to be Lucas and Peyton always. Peyton, was trying to be a good friend to Brooke and bury her feelings for Lucas so that way Brooke can be happy even though she’s in love with him.
You all are making this more deep and "tragic" than how it actually is! Peyton is HIS FRIEND, he made a promise to her during the summer when him and Brooke WEREN'T A COUPLE! I am Team Leyton, but you guys have to stop to believe that Luke is always in denial about his feelings for her! ( he was like that ONLY in Season 5) He loved Brooke in Season 2-3, a 17 years old boy can love more than one girl in different ways and times, you know that? 🤦🤦🤦🤦
hilario burton is great but i absolutely HATED peyton in season 5 she was such a toxic and cancerous character. actively trying to break up lindsey and lucas and lucas is no better willingly cheating on command for her. i hated leyton it wasn’t romantic it was toxic and hurt more people than it was worth. lucas and peyton are both pieces of shit who act mightier than thou
I love how she left him after realizing how much he's in love with Peyton. In Friends when Ross says Rachel's name when she knew clearly that he was still in love with her she still married him. I give props to Lindsey for running from the wedding knowing she she couldn't marry a man who was clearly in love with someone else
i will say this under every post if i have to but i absolutely hated lucas and peyton they were two horrible people masquerading as “good ones” they consistently hurt brooke and others. lucas was worse but peyton was no better. season 4 was the peak of them being horrible. after telling brooke that they kissed in the library and brooke wanted them to be in contact less they practically were joined at the hip all season. leyton was the worst shop in OTH
