I passed! and want to say thank you! lots of group counseling questions, don't neglect that section like I did. Also; if you can, take it close to graduation after or before doesn't matter, but doing it with a full case-load SUCKS.

Love the out of the box approach to our field. Since we clearly lack the legal/political representation to assist in creating fair insurance collaboration we must go private pay to truly succeed financially. It is not unreasonable for professionals to expect fair pay.
A z score is numerically identical to the standard deviation. I have a picture where you can see all the major scores in relation to the normal curve on page 698 of the Encyclopedia of Counseling. An exam might refer to it as a standard score. A z-score of zero is right smack in the middle of the normal curve. Any z score to the left is negative and an z score to the right is positive. So z-score of zero would be average (e.g., 100 IQ). My materials go into a lot more detail. Hope this helps!

How have I not found your content earlier? I have failed the exam 5 times by 2 points. I felt like anything could be asked on that test, and the abundance of information was hard to narrow down. This time, however, I ordered your book. Everything is broken down. Very similar questions are in your book that were on the test. I feel more confident now. I am watching these videos as well. I failed this exam 4 years ago. I needed a resource that was going to help me change the results; Dr. Rosenthal's book and boot camp helped me achieve a passing score! I kept thinking about his manifesting words when he mentions that he wants you to be the next testimonial after you pass the exam. Here is my testimonial! FINALLY! I listened to this boot camp recording (as well as reading it in the back of the book) more times than not the week leading up to the NCE test date. I played it at the gym, on the way to work, in traffic, at home, on walks with my dog, the night before the exam, and the morning of the exam. Thank you Dr. Rosenthal!!!!

As of today May 19th, the Encyc and the Master Lecture Series are available as Audible and audio books but not in a package..
I read the purple book and listened to this video the night before as a little refresher. Passed this morning! You guys can do it too! Just be sure to incorporate different materials in your studying and you'll do fine.
I've listened to this video almost non stop for 24 hours due to last minute studying and PASSED THE NCE TODAY. I appreciate this video so much for helping me out in a tough spot.
@@greynaor I also used other RU-vid videos that focuses on the same material. When I took the test it was heavy on group and career questions, so video on those topics helped Alot.
I take the test in a hour CPCE … it’s my second time taking it and I have adhd so to study is. Struggle in its self … I pray that I remember everything comes to my mind

People who want to write a book often focus on the wrong thing such as how to find an agent or secure a copyright. This program will tell you everything you need to know. BTW, almost everything you have heard about publishing a book with a real publisher is incorrect. This video provides a gold-mine of information.
There is an excellent chance you will see one or more questions regarding test reliability and validity or the NCE, CPCE, or CECE. This video teaches you the basics using your scale so there is no chance you will forget it come test time. I like to keep teaching fun and very easy to understand.
Thanks for all the upbeat comments. I love hearing it. Keep in mind the Super Review and Boot Camp Sections in my current materials have perhaps four to five times this much information!
If you're right out of school, take the NCE right away! If you've been out for a while and are now required to be licensed and want to pass the FIRST TIME, I recommend that you use Dr. Rosenthal's material! It's in there! Linton
For the mental health counselor's exam my materials make a great supplement, however, I would never recommend them as a complete exam prep guide. (Mine are perfect for the NCE, CPCE, and CECE.) For the national mental health counselor's exam I recommend Linton Hutchinson's materials. Also, since the mental health exam is brand new do not purchase used materials to study!
Glad you like it. There is an excellent chance any counseling exam will have a question or two regarding correlation. Here I use a funny little story I have shared with hundreds, if not thousands, and book readers to make sure you "get the important points" and really understand the concept.
@@milsterrr my exam definitely had a lot of questions pertaining to career and group theory as well as some developmental topics (for this it was mainly asking about Piaget and Erikson's stages/application of the stages). For career, study the big names such as Roe, Super, and Holland. I studied questions from the purple book to understand concepts, and used the pocket prep app to take practice quizzes on (questions from this app resembled the questions on the test). For topics I needed further guidance on, I skimmed thru Dr. Pam's channel on said topics since she goes into depth and gives helpful tricks and memory devices too! Lastly, I watched this review video both the night before and the morning of my exam. Read the questions carefully, and read every choice, a lot of questions on it comes down to choosing the best answer out of the ones provided. You got this! Good luck! :)

I listened to your cassette over and over and studied from you purple book. I felt more confident going in to sit for my NCE. I tend to have high levels of test anxiety , but not this time. @@WharfRat44 thank you! I studied for 2-3 months. The Encyclopedia of Counseling book was the most helpful study tool. The exam is more about application of the concepts so the best thing to do is understand the concepts and Dr.Rosenthals book does great with that. Wish you the best and pray you do well ❤️
