Getting error response after ingestion completed and index created successfully. While I initiated the first message Hi, the response is "indexName" required in AzureCognitiveSearch
Hi @Kamal. It was an informative session. I would like to know if we can use Frondoor with a Private application gateway in the backend with private backends as well? Appreciate it if you can guide me here.
Would you follow the same pattern for giving the container app access to azure app config? Basically give the container app identity access to app config, then ref the client id of the identity via a env variable in the container?
I accidentally discovered how to restart a revision from the portal. First, go into the container revisions and uncheck the active container. This will move it to the "inactive" list of containers. Do not save anything at this point. Next, find the revision you're interested in from the inactive revisions and click it. You will see some information about the revision. In the upper left corner of this slide-out panel, you will find the "Restart" option. After observing the restart behavior, it appears that the current revision remains active and the restarted revision replaces the current one without any downtime.
I wish you showed how to link a container app to the public and an internal VM and how you can connect to the resources in a VM through the container app. It's a more practical use case
To reinforce the point about ASGs being more scalable than regular NSGs, I would recommend adding another VM to the ASG and showing that the new VM can also connect to your VM running MSSQL Server. Just shows that you can keep adding new machines without specifying individual IPs.
The frequency of getting response in console is pretty fast. What if you have to control the response and if the response is getting late, what could be the likely issue? Could you please let me know on these?
Very nice thank you! I have a few questions If my blazor app has added other existing projects, which will not exist in same directory and git, how can I publish through azure?😊
I've got a setup with secret retrieval from KV using href, works when KV ingress is public however without having KV open to public it fails to setup complaining its unable to fetch the secret. I've whitelisted the container apps environment IP and allowed it access to KV using user-assigned managed identity. Do you know what the problem could be/what im missing? Thank you.
This was very helpful and easy to follow, thanks! Got my on-prem test working within minutes! Do you know whether instead of using the database connection string user+password we can use a system generated managed identity (and if so, the right way to configure it - usually (on azure databases) you do it with Entra and the SAMI gets the name of the app service).
Hello Kamal, thank for your teaching with azure container apps really helpful truly. Please do you have a file where you made use of an already pushed container image of an application. Now I am not referring to nginx but I have an image on azure container registry from a microservice application. So I want to make use of that image. Please do you a tutorial or terraform file on how I can pull that existing image.
