I have a 2.5 RS that I wanna swap and I've been tossing whether to STI swap or WRX swap. The car is small (coupe) and very light I don't want crazy power out of it honestly 260-300 is more than enough and my style of driving has changed from highway pulls to now only back roads and canyon runs. I think the WRX swap is more than enough for that but I've also owned and STI in the past fro 3 years and I love and miss the feeling that car gave me. My main draw to the STI swap over the WRX is the 6 speed

Oh I found the THICKEST greenest an chunkyest oil in my 25 year old Mazda I've ever seen. Flushed it down with some cheap oil and put in some really good, and I think I found three more horsepower somewhere in that beaten old block. Three years later it still sings at the limi with no complaints

Good news for you cobb sucks anyways. Tactrix open port 2.0 has all the answers and can do anything you want for tuning. And not lock your ecm to a Cobb unit requiring you to pay more and more money for crap tunes. Every Cobb Subaru that I know has problems. Every one. Unless they payed the money for a custom tune and have that locked so you can’t adjust or even see it. As a tuner I hate that. Open source Tractrix for the win. Launch control patch and anti lag switch all off of stock ecm. I also run 0 emissions on my car. And make 400 wheel hp and it’s a daily so that’s about the perfect amount of power for staying out of trouble. Any more and I’d be in jail lol
