The whole cannibalism thing would make so much more sense. The panic every time the health inspectors come over, tina's thing for zombies, Louises unhinged nature, the slight off feeling about the family in general, the fact that they live next to a crematorium
love how the show developed into the more wholesome version we have now. Like even on the official first episode, it already feels a little out of character for Bob to not know about Linda's due date since he's such a good dad
I love that the show is more welcoming and wholesome. Can’t believe what the show would be like if they kept the idea of the Belcher family being cannibals
I much prefer the pilot's art and animation style. I think It looks better and has a lot more personality. The current one we have, I have always disliked.
I am SO glad that they made Bob’s Burgers different compared to Family Guy, Simpsons, and American Dad. This is just more of a natural family comedy. The writing, plots, characters, the developments, just everything. I LOVE this show.
I gotta say I really appreciate that while they’re not explicitly ‘in poverty,’ they are poor/working class in a way that other shows like the Simpsons or Family Guy eventually ignore. The Belchers are regularly pitted against their landlord, their bank, and the sleazy dick across the street who runs a shitty business, not to mention that they basically pay for Gayle to exist. AFAIK there aren’t any direct references to capitalism in the show but I feel like they’re my comrades and I love it
