The machine is fine, the software not so great. I use SCAL 6 for designing and sending to the cutter, no issues there. What Siser have tried to do is make the software rather automatic in how it deals with different file formats but that has meant that you have less freedom and control over what it does. It is improving but it will take a long while getting there.

@@3dPrintCreator The thing is, as soon as you share an STL, someone will take it and then start selling either it or the product. Sad but true. My platform is not large enough to make it worth while doing it.
@@siserjulietbeginnerstopro5041 I understand your concern, but it really only becomes an issue if the person who steals your design becomes a competitor. If you're not selling it or sharing it yourself, would it really matter if someone else does? In the meantime, I've gone ahead and designed something myself. Once I've tested it enough, I'll offer it on MakerWorld. Whether someone steals it or not doesn't really bother me too much.
Do you have any course or class online because I wanna learn how to use the machine and so far I just I use my cricket back because I tried to learn it and nobody teach it or nobody give us a course and I tried to learn to Romeo by my own, and I have succeeded with the machine and then I bet you it’s because I don’t know how to use it
I have videos on this channel but no 'course'. What is it that you suffer with, the machine itself or the software? I don't use Leonardo, I use Sure Cuts A Lot V6, which also goes straight to the machine. I have loads of videos on that both in a playlist here and on my other Channel Createinspain. If I don't answer here, go to the FB pages of the same name for my groups, you will find expert advice from myself and others.
I have played it back and aside from a difference in volume on some clips, the audio is fine. The answer is simple, go find a Pro video maker and watch them instead. I don't get paid to spend hours editing.

Did they ever improve the issue with 12x12 and cardstock like you mentioned? I'm considering this machine instead of a Cameo 5 due to the lack of customer service.
it's a great cutter - Siser is not a software company looking to take on Adobe Illustrator or Figma. Leonardo has the right basic functionality for "basic" graphic designing. I personally don't think Siser should add many more
No reason why not except that you may find it hard to keep the blanks on the mat because of weight. If you do, I would make sure to put something in front and behind the cutter to support it travelling back and forth.
I am a pen hoarder and I had trouble finding pens to work -so thank you and I will try the Sakuras. And thank you for the popsicle trick. My attempts were a disaster with lines all over the place! You save my life at least once a day. :)

Hope you got your answer, but if not... and I'm not trying to be vague, but it does depend on your printer. AFAIK typical 8.5x11 sheet I can p&C approx 7.7 x 9.8", but I have to watch that I'm not intruding on the registration marks. I didn't get my Juliet based solely on this though, but I'm so glad I did! Honestly, if you just like to push a button and go, stick with Cricut. But if you want precision and perfect cuts, a quiet machine, dependable software/operation, then get it!
Sorry, only just seen this. I have no idea what YT does with comments most of the time. If you use SCAL6, the only limit is your printer, you can put reg marks 4mm in from the paper edge and it will still work.

If you go to the reimbursement link, and put in the serial number of your Siser cutter, you should be able to get the refund, I would think. If you can't manage it contact Creative Fabrica.
Thank you for these helpful videos. The only problem I have with them is that you speak so softly and the audio so low that even with my computer volume all the way up, it is difficult to hear what you are saying. And if there is any background noise where I am watching your video, I can't hear you at all.
Not me but it is, generally, user error. Have a search on the Siser USA FB page and you should find that sort of question asked and answered (often answered by me)
Thanks for this. I have that hand held cutter and yes it takes practice. Wish mine came with different size blades. Mine comes with only 1. Will have to see if I can find one with different sizes. I found it hard to use at 1st. Love the cars.
Thank you thank you thank you! This is genius and such a life saver! I scoured the internet because I truly cannot find an option for a scoring tool for my new Siser Juliet, and absolutely nothing. Which is so confusing to me because it has a scoring option in Leonardo. So I'm going to try something like this to attach a scoring tool I have from Cricut that has somewhat of a barrel. Thank you again!!
They are planning on having one, it just hasn't got through production yet...It is a necessity to me to be able to use scoring tools and different pens, so I have needed to find my own solutions!
I am going to try this today but didn’t have this issue yesterday. So, I am confused. Did print and cut 11x17 sticker paper all day for a job with unique files. I have not calibrated yet. I never calibrate unless I have an issue. When I used the Cricut, I would have to calibrate too much for my taste.
I tested the same file (png) in SCAL6 and it cut perfectly, so it was not calibration, it was an issue with the trace. As I said in the video, I did it on complete Auto, so the chances are, it caught a few more pixels than it needed to. It was only VERY slightly off and not the purpose of the tutorial.
