The No Vaseline 1 is fab, and Snoop, BIG, 50cent, Eazy-E, Nas, XXX, Lil Kim, Tupac, Lil Wayne, and more are good too. I must admit they are now my guilty pleasure 😂 😊 There are 1950s and 1970s mixed tunes.
Legend has it, Young Dolf was in Memphis just after the civil rights movement in ‘64, born and raised in the toughest neighborhoods where survival was a daily grind. He had that undeniable Memphis swagger, a mix of smooth charm and raw grit that commanded respect. One hot summer day in 64, the word spread through the streets that Big Finn, the ruthless gang leader, was taking over territories and demanding tributes from everyone in the hood. But Dolf, being the fearless hustler he was, didn’t bow to anyone. He had a rep to protect and a message to send. So, Dolf rolled up on Big Finn’s corner, the sun setting behind him, casting long shadows across the pavement. "Yo, Big Finn," he called out, "I hear you’ve been causing some trouble in my hood. Now, that’s something I can't let slide." Big Finn, all muscle and menace, swaggered over, his crew of thugs flanking him. "Well, if it ain’t young Dolf," he sneered. "You think you can take me on? You’re just another punk from the block." But Dolf wasn’t fazed. He adjusted his cap, eyes glinting with a dangerous edge. "I’m not just any punk. I’m the man who’s gonna put you in your place. In this hood, we don’t take kindly to bullies." Without another word, Dolf squared up with Big Finn. The air was thick with tension as they stared each other down. Then, with a sudden explosion of movement, they clashed. Dolf was fast, moving with the precision of a seasoned fighter. He landed blows with power, staying one step ahead of Finn’s brute strength. The fight was legendary, a tale that would be told in Memphis for years. And when the dust finally settled, it was Young Dolf who stood tall, and Big Finn, bruised and beaten, conceded defeat. From that day on, no one dared challenge Dolf’s reign. The streets buzzed with his name, a legend forged in the heart of Memphis. Young Dolf, the gangsta who stood up to tyranny and ruled the hood with honor and a whole lot of badassery. Which is how Boosie Badazz got his start in the game. But that’s another story for another day.
