While i gotta give big hoss here credit for the weight test, how long is 8 minutes? I mean what kind of a "real" test is that. Not that i'm coming down on the guy but sit in it a while (like hours) and then you can say you truly 'tested' it with someone at that weight. A few minutes is no kind of 'real' test for a review....or amend the video to show "3 months later" to give it some credibility of real testing (assuming he used it a few days a week) nuff said?
Hi, what do you think about any health hazard. Is it safe to use a cheap cast iron pan? I have ordered one but my husband is a bit skeptic all about it.

Fully disagree with your evaluation . First off the bag itself is a $20-$25 value. You also can never have to much cordage.. The shovel has at least 4 uses. It is a shovel, pick,compass and a self defense tool if the need arises. One object with 4 uses which makes it priceless. To make my point the small bag you tossed has value as it can hold salt and pepper packets you can pick up from any fast food restaurant and keep them dry. Food is rather tasteless without spices. I put a few tea bags in one and sugar in another. These are example of how folks like yourself easily over look the value of the items you are reviewing. Anyone putting together any kind of go bag or something else must understand nothing goes into that bag that does not have a minimum of 2 uses. Nothing.

I bought these for our children to keep in their cars, crazy concerned mom here. These preps are not ideal for sure, but in a pinch or being stranded, they will provide something. Of course we don't expect these to last 25 yrs in a car, but it does give me a little piece of mind. They also have their get home packs, we pray they never have to use them! Our children work an hour from home in the cities, having tough terrain to get home, so it is what it is . Thanks for the review. To me the most outstanding part is their water. I thought about just buying the water, adding my own dehydrated or freeze dried preps. . Just haven't got to it yet. Subscribed. 😊

i got one the other day. I think it's a pretty cool little thing. I keep it with me in my bag. it's best for boiling stuff in cup shaped pots. I tried frying in a small pan but it didn't work very well, too hot. For the green 1lb propane bottles, the stand is indeed useless.

Thanks for the video I think you did an excellent job like you said every item is worth its weight in gold when it's all you have in a emergency situation you don't want to be married to a survival kit you don't ever plan on using but then again Ozark Trail items and equipment for its Price Point is usually far better than anything else

Actually just purchased this kit, primarily to go thru the kit and add and/or subtract components! It’s a hobby more than anything, but when I finish the changes and upgrades, I will gift the kit to a family member or friend. Great review man! Thanks!
