I tried installing today and when my wife shakes it (or open the faucet), the faucet top shakes a little. She does not like it one bit. Any solutions for that?
This faucet is brilliant. It installs from ABOVE the counter. Took 15 minutes to install. Also has a "power" spray setting with a concentrated stream. Great job.
Sorry, I continue to fail to see how a 360 degree rotating kitchen faucet is anything other than the manufacturer saving a few cents by not installing the left and right stops needed to prevent this and trying to upsell it as a "feature". Allowing your kitchen faucet to rotate around away from the bowl is just asking for trouble in a world of busy families and chaos.
Thank you the new ones had red and blue hot and cold. Did not know they had a universal -that you could just reverse clip for hot and cold. I had the 910-900 and your video was very Helpful. Your the man.
This video doesn't show B2 and B4 from the instruction manual. It shows B2 in place but not being placed. It doesn't show B4 at all. I'm going to have to assume that B4 is the white gasket and it goes below the conical gasket B3. That's consistent with the manual. However the manual itself doesn't tell you how to distinguish between B2 and B4. This video being incomplete in not showing placing B2 and not showing B4 at all.
Hi! The back of the Rancho spout has a little catch that would need to be pushed in to release the spout as you pull it up. Below is a link to the installation guide that shows how the spout was installed to give you an idea, refer to page 5. Thanks - Pfister Social pfisterstorage.blob.core.windows.net/documents/pf_is_f529-7rch_56909.pdf
Just replaced my old Moen with the Pfister Rancho. Uninstalling the old unit was horrible with standard nut….. Install of the Pfister was extremely easy. Great product. Suggestion is to make supply lines more flexible though.
Add me to the list of people that cannot get the handle off of a Pfister Hanover pull down kitchen faucet (model f-529-7tms) that I installed in 2011. The fixture needs a new cartridge, which I have but cannot replace. After hours of vinegar soaking, hot water immersion, handle whacking and prying, I used a high speed oscillating tool to cut off the handle and pry off the dome cap, etc. Some things that the video failed to mention is the need to inspect the faucet body after removing the cartridge. When I removed my old cartridge’s sealing o-ring was still in the faucet body. Also, it is imperative that the new cartridge is fully seated in the faucet body with the alignment pegs fully inserted in the mating holes in the faucet body. Also some plumbers silicon is usually a good idea on these jobs.
Bought the matching replacement cartridge at HD per the manuel (leaky hot faucet). Wouldn’t fit as I did not realize the white middle part of the new cartridge slides off. Was about to return it but customer service sent me to this link. Now it’s good as new!
Pfister sent me the whole thing that the cartridge sits in including the part that goes underneath, because I couldn’t get one of the cartridges out. Cartridges 900-050 and 900-060 and “Quick Connect Hose Assembly for Legacy Widespread 49 Series” part 971-0050. Looking under my sink, I have no idea how to connect all this. Also, which is the hot cartridge and which is the cold?

My faucets are the handle is a circle of the German cut glass. You have to pull out and turn. which they are very hard on the hands. please help me I love them they are beautiful and want to keep them.
Hi, my 2009 Price Pfister Catalina R89E . 808E shower valve, 0X8, is dripping. Is it best to replace the entire cartridge? If so, what is the cartridge number I should order?
Hi! The push and seal drain stopper can be removed for maintenance and cleaning by rotating it counterclockwise while lifting. If the drain cap unscrews from the post, the post also unscrews from the drain body by turning it counterclockwise. Thanks -- Pfister Social
I just installed this faucet today 6/12/24 and the video is incorrect. The video shows the mounting bolt at the rear of the faucet facing the wall. It’s actually in front of the unit facing the sink. I couldn’t get my unit using the base plate to sit flush. I corrected the problem by cutting the round section of the horseshoe shaped underside mounting bracket to prevent it from hitting the sink. The flat spot gave me the necessary room to move the faucet forward just enough to get it to sit flush. Other than that it was a piece of cake to install and it’s not my first Pfister product. I’m very pleased with their products.
The soap dispenser fills from the top. To fill soap dispenser: 1. Remove the dispenser head by pulling it up and off the shank. 2. Pump mechanism and straw should come out with the dispenser head. If not, carefully remove the straw by pulling it out of the dispenser shank. 3. Pour liquid soap into the dispenser shank slowly until the bottle reaches only 3/4 capacity. 4. Insert the dispenser head with the pump mechanism and straw (attached) back into the dispenser shank and push down firmly.
Add me to the list of people that cannot get the handle off of a Pfister Hanover pull down kitchen faucet (model f-529-7tms) that I installed in 2011. The fixture needs a new cartridge, which I have but cannot replace. I used a vinegar/water mix (hot and cold), vinegar (hot and cold), mechanical agitation, etc. with no success. As an experienced., mechanical engineer, I have seen some bad designs, but this is near the top for me. With this poor design, Pfister should be publishing multiple videos with techniques on how to deal with replacing parts on such. Poor design with a known issue (operating experience). This is the lowest level corrective action that the company should be taking given a KNOWN issue. Posting over and again that customers should contact your team is poor customer service. My company has fired people for less. So how the heck do I get the handle off? Sawzall? Oxy-acetylene torch?
Just bought this and going to install. Printed instructions are the worst ever, several languages with minimal details, multiple models in one set of instructions. Terrible, confusing. This video is a little better but still lacks detail, like exactly how that temperature setting works or is adjusted. No more than 5 seconds on that. C'mon Pfister, for a premium brand you can do better that this I hope.
Use a 7/16 deep socket to scr 4:51 ew on the long brass nut that holds the Faucet. In my 1950s house, not even tiny tim could get a crescent wrench up in that tight area. Also, have someone hold the Faucet above in place . Much easier..oh one more thing, make sure the little final tighting nuts down by the white plastic caps..I didn't notice with rust crumbs everywhere that it was above the horseshoe Faucet holder. Thank God I didn't have to loose that long nut with a crescent wrench. Looks really nice when your done. Oh and you may have to partially saw off the plastic nuts that held the old Faucet tight to get it loose. Rigid sells a reasonably priced oscillating saw. Remember, it looks nice when your done.
Hi! If you are using a new Secure Pfit handle with an older flange plate, it won’t work. You’ll need the correct flange plate for the Secure Pfit handle. Can you call our Consumer Support Team so we can troubleshoot with you to resolve this? 🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:27 *🖐️ Ensure your hand motion is between one and four inches from the sensor for optimal response.* 00:39 *💡 If the faucet seems inactive, try holding your hand in front of the sensor for five seconds to deactivate "hibernation mode."* 00:53 *🔌 If you have a power plug, try unplugging and then replugging it to reset the sensor.* 01:06 *🔧 Check that all batteries are correctly installed and connections are securely engaged.* Made with HARPA AI
Really odd since demo was done on sink without overflow protection. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mlGMJhn_uAc.htmlsi=opPof8gZ_6h7w6oY
Hi! The grey ring on top of the quick connect/diverter would need to be pressed in to release the grip on the inlet line. You need to press in and hold it down as you slide it down the inlet line to remove it. Thanks -- Pfister Social
