I was in Afghanistan in 2007-2008. I watched a shepherd boy use a sling to get the attention of a few sheep who were falling behind. He was at the base of the mountain and the sheep were walking and eating along the slope. They were at lest 30 feet above him . He would pick up a pebble and hit the sheep in the hip to get its attention. They were every accurate with these slings and knew exactly how much velocity to use. He didn’t want to hurt the sheep but if a predator came he could use it to kill.

The heat from nuclear plants does not add much heat in the scheme of things and is negligible when talking about climate change. We are talking about adding about 13 Hiroshima bomb equivalents of heat a second for climate change. Nuclear plants are not stopping heat reflect back into space like greenhouse gases.

Imagine if the South Koreans suddenly developed this anti-war mentality. North Korea would certainly invade them, and they would be starving and malnourished with absolutely zero human rights. NK tried to do this in 1953 but were pushed back by the US, and today, South Korea is a prosperous, healthy, democratic nation that North Koreans risk their lives to flee to. He doesn't even make claims against the practice of war. He just knit picks US foreign policy, lol. Also, war definitely is a natural part of the human condition. Sébastien Junger has written numerous books on this, and psychologists have discovered that PTSD is not worsened by traumatic experiences. Rather, it is mostly caused by war veterans returning home to an increasingly isolated and divided society. Imagine you are surrounded by a platoon of guys who would die for you, and you are working rogether to accomplish tasks, yet you are pulled from this and end up working a souless office job for 8 hours a day, coming home to an empty apartment.
