truck mechanic with a passion for vintage machinery. looking at growing my channel, giving you all more to see thinking about doing some "behind the scenes" footage so if it's something you'd like to see please like all the videos you can and subscribe as it shows me it'd be worth my while. cheers all happy viewing 👍
Cheers! Are you the Gary Millar that was doing steam engine light rails? If so I have a pair of your rails on a wilesco showmans. Absolutely fantastic things 👍
@@jackmaskell yes its me... Thank you for the very kind compliment! I've had a long rest, but starting to make some again in small quantities just for Christmas, very soon.
Treat yourself to an Eachine ET8. Open Crank, standard 4 cycle engine.. no hit and miss governed.. , that will keep your lights lovely and steady! Where did you get the wheels too, for the trolley please? The entire outfit looks superb!
I have been thinking about one tbh😂 Wheels are mamod front wheels as the bigger ones, smaller 2 are mamod flywheels. Rest is small square steel from B&Q I love it
Looks like you're a bit of an expert at these. Have you seen this video by way out west who's having some starting issues? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4gdXBY6BDpU.html
Helps if you don't take off the handle while dropping de-compressor. Otherwise compression stops the momentum your trying to gain. Diesel always need a few revolutions after de-compressor is dropped. Also don't be scared of it
This one is currently in bits as it developed a nasty oil leak from beside the flywheel and cam bush had worn oval. Keep doing little jobs to it between other projects
