I think the real problem is hundings. But for real proc sets should not out DPS stat-based builds but a lot of the time they are higher. It's a problem eso has had for ages.
I run when im going to be jumped by 3 or 4 guys. No thanks. Sometimes its because they are tower runners. Again no thanks. A ball group, yeah im gone. Blame zos. Blame player base. Nobody wants to die. Dying gets ppl hate whispers, pvp is just as toxic as pve. We need to give grace to ppl learning or may not be as good as you instead majority of cyro is super toxic and cant wait to hate on anyone who dies and everyone will die at some point but you die and you got ppl t- bagging you, sending you hate whispers. Maybe you dont experience it as much bc you are a streamer but it happens alot. Cyro is almost worst at cliques then pve is and the worst is the top pvpers for most alliances talk and are friends and so shit on other players.
So if I'm streaming and known to be good are you going to run at me and try to kill me while I'm streaming live? For everyone else to see?? I've seen a few times you do run with a friend so could be 2 against 1... is that fair? Not really. I like your videos but this seems kinda ignorant.
you want to know whats an issue with the state of pvp? your video has an EXTREME prime example of it. you're being attacked by 20 ppl and able to survive EVERYTHING they're throwing at you. The fact that you've found a build that you can do that with is awesome and congrats to you on that. But healing in PVP and shields that are healing you at the same time is a problem. Meta Builds are a problem. The diversity not being a thing anymore isn't a problem, its that if you're not using sets or builds that are "meta'ish" it's not fun. Dying on repeat to a group of ppl that are using meta builds, is not fun. You want to know whats the issue, that's the issue. That's why ppl run from players like yourself that are known to have these meta sets or play with other ppl in a group WELL above their skill level. They can't kill you so why fight you. That's why they run from you and the group of ppl you tend to play with.
Tarnished needs a universal cool down. Meaning only 1 can hit you, PERIOD, every like 10 seconds. Not 6 at the same fkn time from 6 different losers. BGs are 100% killing the game. Unkillable and create huge lag spikes.

So the Seducer Necklace isn't over Performing? Because, it's one of the only close range meta mythics that are being used now. Wait you're running it in this very video. PVP has started to look like a disco party or a xmas light display inside of keep walls now. Get close to ANYONE using it right now and you're hit with 5 different minor debuffs. You don't even have to be in combat with them, looking at them puts this on you as long as you're in that AOE it puts out. So pretty much you're not likings something that's killing you but love something you're benefiting from that's over powered. But I do agree with you, it is REALLY strong and could use some finer tuning on it. Also you're a slightly better player than most are, so those that aren't to good with close up combat and now have a set that can perform at a distance and still stand a chance, what's wrong with that? MAG SORCS! OH I 100000000000% agree with you on that! The 1vxers that are able to take 4million damage heal 100% then deal out 30k hits. Biggest issue, isn't really that Tarnished is OP, the biggest issue is that sets keep getting nerfed into the ground and are no long viable to provide any sort of diversity at all in Cyro. So people are using whats working and doing the most damage that they can possibly do. You blame tarnished nightmare, I blame things like ball groups being able to cast 12 echoing vigors on top of each other and stacking stupid high amounts of healing and resistance, block tanks that have 40-50k health and doing 25-30k damage per hit, mythics that cast 12 meter AOE debuffs to ANY one within that circle and allowing who ever is using to damage type major buffs on top of that. Where if you have a group of ppl running it they now have the chance to apply up to 5 different minor debuffs to ppl at the same time.
I'ma be real, I think people actually learned about that set from videos like this in the last couple days. It was bad before but just in the last few days it's turned into like half all people are wearing this. Including groups of like 6+ NB just stealth killing people outside of keeps. As a solo, it's insane to deal with now. But hopefully it's so bad that it gets addressed soon.
People who aren't complaining about arnished are the people who aren't affected by it. By either playing a tank, in a zerg, or using it themselves. Tarnished is a major issue in PvP. There's no opinion about it. It desyncs, and it does far too much damage for absolutely for absolutely 0 counter play. People are saying the real issue is 40k hp..... because of sets like these and gankers 1 shotting people out of nowhere. It's horrendous game design. You should NOT be able to just absolutely obliterate someones HP when you don't even know where they are. No wonder people are running high hp because its just egregious and frustrating to just be completely deleted from nowhere, and there's nothing you can do about it. I agree 40k hp is far to high, but let's not forget that ganking and proc sets are also a huge issue that's forcing players into running more and more HP
I think you're right the Sundered status needs to be removed. I think also it should include the condition "Dealing Critical Damage with a Martial melee attack...", locking it to proc off melee only. It would reinstate the risk-reward idea you mentioned.
There is a guild called "Carried by Tarnished" out there. It makes me laugh when I see it. And Tarnished gankers are just an annoyance. The D-Ring All Stars just love it too.
I run blood spawn with nightmothers embrace and night terror on my hybrid werewolf dk. Sneaky fire monster that one is. The flame whip thingy hits hard after you do the dagger throw and burning talons them.
You are asking for diversity in PVP? Come on man, every single PVPeer always run meta with the most unbalanced set possible until it get nerfed and then move to the second most unbalanced combination. Zenimax will present another new chapter with another broken set and the cycle will go on. Cycles goes like this: 1) Introduce new shit that breaks the game. 2) Get money from players. 3) Fix/nerf the "issue". REPEAT!
The problem with ESO is that unlike a traditional MMO they do not reward exceptional play. They would rather cater to the mounds of people complaining it isn’t vanilla enough for them. Back when I started played in 2014 we would all teach each other how to get better and what sets to wear. Nowadays they search a RU-vid video and join a 24 man.
I get each patch is a new meta and another class will be unbalanced but currently this is the elder blades online. They got a ridiculous buff last two patches and everyone’s on one playing in Tarnish. I get it’s the meta and do what you want to compete but I’m sick of watching players “2vX” with just pure carry by class and set. 🥱🥱🥱 why I choose to stay ball group now a days.
Anyone coming to defend blades. Cloak is broken, why should you be able to flee perfectly or pop out with guaranteed crit. Specy bow hits stupid numbers. Concealed weapons buffs are both bars and again hits harder than most spamables. Incap might as well be a 15K spamable. Their healing is stupid. Class is broke. Remove the crit from stealth and increase the cost of incap or reduce the damage.
There is no build diversity because of people like you. Y’all always want sets nerfed. Tarnished is fine. What they need to do is bring back other sets they nerfed before to compete with tarnished. Caluurions, Storm Master, Infallible Mage, etc. Everyone uses Tarnished because it’s the only set that does meaningful burst damage. Everything else got nerfed to irrelevance.
Main issue for me is over-tankiness. If we are talking about sets always encountered within a short time Rallying Cry and dark convergence are always around as well. I use Tarnished at close quarters. I guess one thing they could do to make tarnished less of a draw but still help with tank mitigation is add sundered as scripted affix.
