How would you charge using the recovery tank?
@asokasl

Thank you for keeping it simple. Not to confuse with too many details. But it would help if a small filter dryer was added to the recovery hose just before the recovery machine inlet. But great job.

If you put nitro before you put pessured ,full ope valve on high side..then slowly open nitro regulator. .up to 150 psi.. check me if im wrong..then you see the low side .going up..to 150 psi . Then closed the nitro.

When pulling a vacuum on an existing system, will remaining refrigerant oil in the tubes affect your vacuum reading? In my mind the oil will evaporate just like water and ruin your vacuum reading?

tightening (closing) the valve, increases the regulated pressure?? 🤔… shouldnt it be other way round as closing the valve kills the pressure

I appreciate your video on the recovery process, I am an hvacr instructor and I like to show the students videos like this. The problem is everyone on RU-vid is using the newest recovery machines and they don't use a manifold to recover through just fancy hose connectors. How you are doing it and the machine is the same one I've used for years. I believe in keeping it simple 👍Thanks
@HVACHVACHVAC
@HVACHVACHVAC Год назад
keeping it simple would be Removing Valve cores with a valve core tool, using 3/8 hoses and a Y fitting without a manifold and recovering to the vapor side of the tank flipped upside down . you'll be done in no time. using a manifold and other restrictive things is not doing students any favors.

@cesarmartin111

I think is not necessary, it just if you want to make the recovery faster
@philipajarapoo7675

How do you tell how much gas is left in the tank?
@SanjeevKumar0007

By checking the reading of pressure gauge on right side that read 2000psi
@deenibeeniable

@SanjeevKumar0007 2 года назад
@@deenibeeniable p1v1= p2v2 Where P1 is pressure in atmosphere ,V2 is volume you want to calculate, P2 pressure read by gauge and V2 is water capacity of the cylinder. For a gauge reading 1000psi , the volume of gas should be 1000*40(water capacity)/14.5
