Hmm, I can't say for sure, because I used the no spoil mod for the purpose of video recording. I guess try to grab and drag it into an empty counter that way your sim can clean it up. The cakes in the get to work shelf, yeah that's gonna be a problem. I guess you will have to replace them with a debug item or deco item in there, not sell it because your sim can't replace them once it is bought (although you can replace the cake in the bottom part of the get to work shelf). I hope I explained it well. Lol.
Hi, you need to replace the original police station with this build in order for it to fully function as a police station. 🙂 Also, get rid of some of the clutter (I decorated the desks for video recording purposes) in the police desks so the npc sims can actually use the computers.
Hello, it's in the description. I set this up as Residential, but if you want this build to function as a small business for your sim, just change the lot to retail, move your sim to another lot, have your sim buy it, and then move them there to live.
Hi, I used coffee by queensherlock. I am also using some lighting mods. I also think it has something to do with the time of the day and the lot placement. 🙂

OMG it's just gorgeous!! As a huge connoisseur of "Detroit become human", I am absolutely delighted! =D I once tried to create Hank's house myself, but it didn't work out. A very lamp-like and pleasant video, the house turned out to be excellent, I'm ready to give a standing ovation! The only thing is, I would also add dog bed for Sumo, but as it is, I just look and cry with admiration 😭💘. (I am writing from Russia through a translator, sorry if there may be strange formulations somewhere ;) )
If you played DBC and when you entered Hank's house you didn't feel emotional when you found out he had a son that is dead, you played it wrong. Your build is amazing, by the way. Could you build the apartment from the first scene where Connor saves that girl from that android? It'd be nice. Xoxo
How do you put all the furniture and decoration pieces so close to each other? Is it a mod? When I tried it in my game, it didn't work... I always have those gaps
I love this!! I have one issue though, when I click on the cash register nothing happens. no popup, nada :( I downloaded the mods you mentioned but I cant tell what's wrong .
Hi, I honestly don't know. 🥺 Maybe a mod clash with others? I only have quite a few mods just for playtesting and those two I mentioned work individually.
@@YourAverageNoob I found my problem. You kept the lot as a retail lot, but I was using LittleMsSam's retail mod to have a live in store. I didn't want to have my sim "stay over" at the shop because I once had a restaurant this way and my sim couldn't use her dining table and other things at her place in the same lot :( but I'll play it your way 🤣
@hosomi21 Yes I did. I see. I didn't use LittleMsSam's mod so I have no idea how her live-in mod works, only those two I mentioned. So yeah, glad you found the problem. :)
Hi, I didn't use the live in store mod so I can't say for sure. What I always do when I play in retail is to have my sim buy their main lot/house, then have them buy the retail lot (ex. this bakery), and move them in there to live.
your builds are always fantastic, and this one is so inspiring! how’d you get this lot type to work outside of the designated lot for the career? i am curious!
Thank you! I'm glad to know I inspired you. Anyway, the building will still need to be placed in the original designated lot. I just built and filmed the exterior portion of the video in a different world. :)
