The fog light not being auto is pretty odd. i had that with my 2020 Kia Sportage. and just picked up my 2024 GMC Denali. Since its in the apps. GM could do a update to fix this.

You thoughts on absence of 4 lo are correct. 4 lo is "standard" with most 4 wheel drive vehicles.

Does your truck have the bed wired for the factory add on lights? Could you have used that wiring if it does? Yeah, you wouldn't be wired to your switch panel, but you could have a switch in the bed for it.

I’m 1500 miles into my Canyon and I agree with pedals. I’m always in boots and it gets tight. A 2 speed transfer case should indeed be in it but there we are. Monday the leveling kit and ko2s go on to get rid of the stock “all terrains” then the topper next Friday and there’s were the dogs will go and like there head through the back window

This is really interesting and useful information. The great equalizer in comparison for any brand of truck is towing. I pull a 2004 Mastercraft Prostar 205V, and with full fuel tank, half empty ballast, gear, etc, I’m just over 4000lbs. Here’s where it gets interesting. I tow with a 2003 GMC Sierra with the old 5.3 LM7 V8 with 285hp/325ft-lb and upgraded 3.73 Yukon gears. It has a tune and headers, but I manage 11.4mpg highway at 70mph. And trust me, with a 4 speed transmission, you definitely know a boat is back there. My point is, I’m looking to upgrade and I absolutely love the Canyon/Colorado, but I feel like GM is missing the big picture with a 2.7 turbo engine. I know it produces a lot of torque, but does it at the expense of a 4 cylinder getting only 23-24 mpg unloaded, and 8mpg towing. I’m one of the old school guys that would love to see them give the option of a V8 or even the 3.0 Duramax in that platform. Transmission and rear end is where a truck makes its money, and I just feel like with a modern transmission, you could easily get 26-28mpg with a V8 on board, and send the midsize market into a new era.

Will the factory Aux switch work with the truck off if I wire to hot side of the relay to the battery? I'm thinking of using the Aux switch as my manual switch for my power steps.

Damn, did you get that area by the parking break all in one piece??? I just wrapped mine satin black to minimize the scratches as well. That black plastic is SOO cheap.

Also the passenger seat feels way better than the drivers. Is it just my truck maybe a defect? I didnt notice when test driving, only when using as my new daily.

Question, I have the 24 elevation and I HATE the cloth seats. The sides are so aggresive and hurts my thighs because I'm sitting on top of them. I'm 5'5 average build I don't see how a man can sit on these seats. Did this leather fix that super aggressive side issue?
