i recently learned a new trick when it comes to stamps - use an eraser and go over the stamp and then stamp it - it helps to create a better stamp impression
I am a hand embroider and have been for also 40 years. I wonder how easy it will be? I think that is great idea Cricut!!! I need something better to help me thread the needle, as I get into my late 60's .
What a complete waste of time. DX MAT ISSUED SOLVED, RUBBISH. You replaced the old mats with brand new ones which of coarse will work, I've gone through 2 mats in 4 weeks, the mats are useless and the machine needs to be throw away due to the costs of the mats. I wasted 500quid on my machine, thank you Brother
I purchased this to use on my nature journaling watercolor sketchbook. It is a bit of a challenge to set up (mainly because I was so excited to work with it and didn't read that it needed to be fully charged before you start pairing it). Though I used a ruler to help guide the printer, I can see how the guide might be very helpful. This printer uses HP printer technology. It is wise to place a piece of paper to protect the rest of the page behind where you wish to print. When you press the button on the top of the printer to start the printing process, the printer can leave a bit of rainbow ink on the page. An easy solution, though, is to add a piece of copy paper to protect the page. To make titles large enough, you will often need to print your title in sections. That isn't a huge problem because the light is spot-on as a guide. Practice makes perfect but I'd suggest you print on a practice sheet before you print on your project to ensure you have the right font size. I purchased my printer from eBay and it was $45 with free shipping. I also purchased replacement ink from an eBay seller. You can print in various single colors or a rainbow of colors. The ink is not waterproof, though it is water-resistant. If you are using it with watercolor, print last! There are many lovely fonts but the word designs in the app can not be altered to make other titles (sadly). If there is a workaround for this, please share. I hope you enjoy your printer as much as I'm enjoying mine.
Great Video. I just got my hands on a 2.0 machine and this is the ultimate hack. I will be going with hack number 5 to get over with the restrictions once and for all.
DO NOT EXPECT THEM TO HONOR THEIR WARRENTY. So. You remodeled my bathroom about 3-4 years ago. And we were happy with the job- except there's a missing piece of floor trim we just found out we were missing. In mid-January 2024 the shower door spontaneously exploded. I have been dealing with the Albuquerque firm-since mid January about replacing it under warranty. They came out three times- once to measure. The second time they replaced the lip that had been un-fixably dented. And said they would be back later that week to replace the door. The third time they brought the glass door but no other needed parts. Said they had been taken out of the box and probably used elsewhere. Said they would go back to the showroom and ordered the needed parts- rails, rollers etc that had been irreparably scratched and needed to be replaced. And left that huge heavy glass shower door leaning up in what is my granddaughter bedroom when she is here- and it is still there. Said they ordered them overnight delivery. We have been calling MULTIPLE times a day to get to the woman who was dealing with the replacement installation. And we have been ghosted. No return calls to our daily voicemails, no follow-ups phone calls at all. That overnight delivery of our parts was over two weeks ago. And we have herd nothing. At this point we are thinking we will need to contact our lawyer and sue the company to honor the warranty.
Ken I'm so happy to see you again . I haven't seen you guys for a long time..... With Covid and lockdown we have been housebound for almost 3 years. When your an older person they warn you that your high risk and have other issues so we are still wearing Masks in public. I lost my husband last May in 2023 so It's not been easy. I know you and Ken will find your stride and get back in the swing. of things. This time around Ken remember that taking care of your health is your first priority and it's important to stay on top of this. I keep in touch with you to see how your coming along. We all have our struggles Ken so stay positive and maybe it would be helpful to focus on one or two things and take care of yourself. When things in time are getting better you can add another project and another but give your self time One step at a time. I could never keep so many balls in the air like you do. I would get sick or stressed out. Take care and stay positive and the best to both of you. pat
love this chalk paint, they just need better colour descriptions and swatches, they'd sell more product. For example, compare/contrast adirondack white, cottage white, sheepskin and undertones sage looks more like robin's egg blue They need better swatches and undertone descriptions
I am a Silhouette user and currently have and am happy with my Portrait 2. However, I thought about entering the circuit universe and had been eyeing the circuit joy because of its smaller size. I love my portrait 2 but again, I wanted something a little smaller with a lot of capability. What finally sold me was finding a bundle deal of $159.99 which included tools, mats and materials. The cricut joy is perfect for my needs. I mostly make cards and smaller items and I love its portability and the fact that it works with either desktop PC, Mac/iPad or Android tablets and/or laptops. It may be little but it is mighty. I did appreciate your video though because it reallly does showcase the cricut joy’s ease of use.
Great explanation but it appears the video cut right as you were about to say if the Cricut mugs have the right amount of polyester. lol I’m hoping you know the answer and you can reply as to if you know or not and can tell me, thanks.
Glad you are staying on track. I would get a treadmill and walk a mile or two daily. It doesn't have to be a speed walk, but movement is so beneficial - sleep, joints, muscles, etc. It would help you sleep also. Good luck!
At 40:51, where you were pressing the paper down onto the mat, you moved the mat too. I suspect that is why your cut was off a little bit. The pressing of the paper to the mat should be done before you position the mat to be scanned/cut.
