How do you add multiple scans to the Trios 5 ie. for an implant crown if we want to scan the healing abutment, then the emergence, and then finally the scan body?
I had test driven a Trio5 to make a few of surgical guides I have made by a lab. Often, they were not sitting properly. An actual stone model based surgical guide provides a better fitting intraorally. I have a feeling that all major scanners are good in general but not as accurate as it should be. For the level of accuracy those scanners are way too expensive. Considering the upscaled technology in this industry, all Intraoral scanners show a similar level of accuracy therefore it is not worth spending extra money for some functionalities that you hardly use.
do you know if anyone in the USA is using this in their lab and I wonder if you know of any clinical trials that are seeking patients to try this on? I would like to be considered and I believe I will be a great advocate for his new dental system due to the condition of my overall dental. Thank you.
My eighteeth helios 500 is clocking same speed and accuracy!! Been two months using it and did more than 100 units of crowns, all perfect!! I guess it's high time the absurd pricing of these brands must come down!! Helios 500 costed me 1/12th of trios!!
@@ThinkCreative24 yes. Whole arch deviation is 20 microns. I took demo of many scanners before purchase trios, medit, dentsply, aoral 3, helios, Dfine and was surprised to see helios 500 results.. yes it has way less features but if you don't want a fancy software and just simple, fast and accurate scanning , it's a beast.
0:50 « our scanner is connected to OUR wifi » Is it really? Because mine is connected to the main PC with a TP Link USB… so my Trios 5 can’t go through 2 walls. Can’t use it in all my clinics
It is really sad that you audio is really really bad quality. It is hard to understand and hard on my hearing. What you are telling is great. So keep them coming( after investing in better sound )
took em how many years to figure out that it's incredibly stupid to have the model moving inside of the scanner instead of having the scanner move around the model?
It's really funny but at the last change to put the models in occlusion, the guy takes 15 sec to do the manipulation on the F8. And the same guy takes 21sec for the E4 😂. But it's exactly the same manipulation. Thanks to misleading advertising 😅 Don't take us for idiots, thank you😘

Get your software to run on Mac! I am seriously considering to buy Medit now! I’m not a new user looking to purchase, I have both 3 and 5, chair side, ortho. Now considering lab. I need your stuff to run on Mac!
This Ortho Simulator has always done a good job on the result. Quality seems to come out nicer than Medit’s Ortho Simulator. Unfortunate that you can’t remove teeth to simulate possible extraction result(s). Medit has a way of creating different scenarios.
