Exquisite! We saw them at Friars, the long missed venue which had different bands on too... this lot, Can, Tangs, Quantum Jump, Kevin Ayers... to name but a few. A privilege to have lived back then for live music.

James was a con artist. He convinced a couple to adopt him when he was about 20 and convicted an older woman to help him build a commune for his students. He actually was introduced to a cult leader who instructed him on how to create a commune. Parents of these students finally woke up and realized his intentions were not good. He didn't want students, he wanted followers.
I spoke to Uri Geller on the phone for an hour and chatted all about a house he was bidding on, it was one of Elvis Presley´s houses that came on auction. The guy was really cool and so interesting to chat with but so religious, every so often for no reason he would say god bless you and may god be with you my friend etc. He was very cool though and chatting about why he wanted the house and other things was really cool for me anyway because at the time I spoke with him he was pretty big and on tv a lot

Yes, I have all 12 episodes on VHS. It was broadcast on TV here in Chile in the early 90's. The music is superb, it strongly caught my attention. The scientific content is also great, very educative.

As a magician myself, what I simply don’t understand is why - even now! - does he keep saying that it’s real?! Why doesn’t he simply admit that he is nothing more than a magician like the rest of us? Nothing would change, he’d still be the same old schmuck he’s always been with the same fame and fortune! I’d respect him more to be honest.
