I agree. He is super talented and magnetic! I know my Elvis ETAs and he’s my #1 now. I too love the 70s Elvis and rank Bill ahead of Klush & Portsmouth. I love Dean Z and Cody for younger Elvis. He must spend a fortune on his jumpsuits and his street clothes are so sexy and cool. I recently saw him in a black Elvis shirt w motorcycle that he had made into a muscle shirt and cut sides wide open, I found it on Walmart site and going to order.., He did a fabulous job with The Final Curtain show. If you're hoping for consistency, CGC isn't the place to look for it (although, admittedly, we all react differently to different sorts of defects - and that can have some pretty considerable impact, when you're considering for yourself whether CGC missed the mark or got it right). It always seems that CGC is harder on structural defects (like the scuffing, chipping and creasing on your Ginger #1, especially over at the right edge) than the sort of defects that are more difficult to quantify (like fading, sun-shadows, and surface soiling). Your Astro Boy #1 (which has an ordinary "Gold Key yellow" background, by the way) has a dingy look to to it, as if a layer of dust had settled on it, and so, in a way, your 1.8 Ginger makes a more pleasing general impression. Gold Key had pretty much eschewed most background illustration on its cartoon-comic covers (as opposed to its painted covers (think Magnus, the Phantom, Space Family Robinson, etc.)), so all you got was the main characters doing whatever was deemed amusing for that month's issue, superimposed on a field of one solid color. Dell had headed in that direction, too, before Gold Key took over most of its properties. One other thing, that cover art of Ginger crushing on her teacher probably wouldn't have seen the light of day in the postcode era. But teacher-student romances were pretty common back in that era, and while they may have raised eyebrows, they usually didn't result in teacher dismissals, at least when the students were of the age of consent. Two teachers (that I know of) in my home town had relationships with classmates of mine, and neither one lost his job with the school district. One actually left his wife and kids to marry our class president, following an affair that began in our senior year. He ended up becoming the school's principal. The time frame for all of that was the early 1970's. Today there would probably be a prosecution, or termination of employment, at the least.

I am assuming that is your daughter in the video and the difference between just what ya'll say about comics and the different verbage complements one another very well. And we've all experienced getting a graded comic back in the mail, looking at the grade and saying, "those Mother Fuckers", now that is genuine honesty right there. So Um You don’t read the comics? Galactus has an android that serves as an enforcer and did the physical confrontations that Galactus felt were beneath him. It was powerful enough to defeat Thing. This android was called the Punisher. Kinda like the Destroyer from Thor.

It was Elvis that inspired me to buy my first guitar which I bought at a flea market for $25! It was a damn cheese grater but what the hell did I know at 12 years old!? My Dad told me if I stuck with it for a year he'd give me as much money as I needed to buy whatever I wanted, and my Dad, a WWII veteran, always kept his word! So, a year later I went to Toronto with my brother in law who was 17 years older than me, and was a great guitar player, and I bought an awesome hand made Yamaha FG 365 acoustic with a hard shell travel/flight case! It was Elvis that inspired me to learn how to sing also! That all began back in 1973/74 and lead me to a career as lead vocals/writer/rhythm guitar player over 30 years and I was forced to retire when I got a serious untreatable health issue which was "gifted" to me through genetics! I had a bass player in my last band who was a good friend and his father was an Elvis impersonator tribute artist and one of the best in Canada, Billy Cann. That got me interested in other Elvis impersonators and there are BILLIONS of them, and that is a real testament to Elvis's spirit, talent, charisma and generosity. Ya, he was a deeply flawed man, and I can't think of anyone in the business who doesn't have flaws that average people don't. That industry is full of vampires, sharks, and demons all wanting to be your instant best friend and they come at you will every vise you can imagine!! I thought Shawn Klush was the best in the world...until I saw Bill! There's a small handful of exceptional Elvis tribute artists among literally thousands, with the vast majority being anywhere o a sliding scale from negative 10 to 5!! I know that's harsh but it is reality, the vast majority of Elvis artists are HORRIBLE and yet they all believe they're Elvis incarnate, you just don't see people that delusional outside of these Elvis impersonators!! LOL! So, I watched Klush when he won the big contest with Joe Esposito being one of the judges and Joe actually became emotional when he saw Klush perform, and said there was moments when Klush was performing that he thought Elvis had come back, it was surreal! So I was a huge fan of Klush, and under him there were a couple who were really solid but not quite at the level Klush was at - Trent Carlini and Dean Z for example. When I saw Cherry I was absolutely blown away!! Bill was stunning!! So, in my opinion Cherry is the "King" of "Kings" (Not the actual King of Kings, that would be Jesus) ") and Klush a close second. Now...is it "Tom"? Friends are extremely important to me. I am a loyal friend and the kind of person who would stand back to back with a friend against an entire club of drunk bikers knowing we most likely would be hauled out on stretchers, but also knowing more than a few of the "assholes" would also be carried out on stretchers! I am extremely loyal and I expect my friends to show the same loyalty. At 60 years old I have a handful of that kind of rock solid friends, and a LOT more who are friends, but not the true loyal variety. So, after hearing you talk about Bill, I had to tell you that you are the kind of friend anyone would be truly blessed to have. There's a huge difference between being a "coward" and being careful.
