Would love to see older children's books back again, once read or otherwise. I brought my older kids in to find books, and saw board books and some picture books. Sounds like a good idea.
Looks charming! I am glad you claimed this house as I used to sell handmade greeting cards way back when it was a consignment craft shop. I cannot wait to visit! I know this location because I recognize the house, but you did not include the house address or location in your advertisement???? Did I miss something??? Congrats...it looks charming...just like what an old fashioned unique bookstore should look like...there are so few good bookstores as so much has been overrun by Amazon. ugh.
Love, love Prairie Path Books. I met Sandy at the original location, which was in the back of a furniture store. In a fit of exhaustion, I sat down on a very comfy sofa, with a book and as it always happens, a good book and a comfy couch I fell asleep and sandy seeing me sleep, let me be. When I woke up befuddled and slightly embarrassed, Sandy assured me it was fine. Needless to say we became friends and I a devoted customer of the greatest bookstore anywhere. ❤
I love the children's book!! It's so beautiful, and I'm just crazy about all things that celebrate the natural world in all its wonder. I would have adored this book as a child ❤️ P.S. Your coffee table is gorgeous 😍
I did the same thing with my grandma and grandpa's china cabinet until I had a house and needed it as a ....china cabinet! Now my oldest daughter has the China cabinet and it's really a pleasure to see how she styles it ❤
I especially like videos such as this one that allow me to add titles I want to look for, and add to my reading list. Please continue! You're fantastic; Prairie Path Books is fantastic.
I think I join lots of admirers who appreciate the time you take to make your store special and share previews in these videos--absolutely wonderful work; absolutely fantastic place to be.
Wish I had Almost Time when I was teaching second grade and preparing for our annual visit to the Arboretum to see the trees being tapped and learn about the maple syrup “factory “.
I was in the store today. The displays are amazing. I met Eric Carle years ago. He is the best for young children. My two year old grandson can already retell Brown Bear.
