Amazing , come on Josh, just admitted, you were in the freaking TON, the best of the best. It’s a shame how it ended, you deserve the world. It’s just everything dies, hope you found peace 🕊️
I wish I made that! The songs I uploaded in a huge batch are by Yasunori Mitsuda, who composed songs on video games like Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, and Xenoblade. He is a huge influence on my music though, so it's flattering to think it sounds like something I could come up with.
One of the happiest songs I have ever heard in my life. It's like having a really fun time at the market on a pleasant summer day...and I hate summer lol
I agree wholeheartedly with everything stated. I'm definitely not a summer person either! That having been said, that unexpectedly stripped down, pensive sounding piano line that comes in cold at 3:40 that has always had a tendency of making my eyes tear up a little bit - often when I'm least expecting it, as it somehow evokes what, to me, feels like something that I can probably only describe as a powerful sense of bittersweet nostalgia for a moment in time that never happened - sort of like after wonderful day spent in some distant, busy market, being reminded that at night's fall, that I must return home, and that all good things must still eventually end. At the same time, it's also sort of like experiencing a moment second-hand magic, if that even makes sense. In any case, I plan to upload the rest Mitsuda-san's album soon, so maybe you'll enjoy the rest of it, too. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it. 😊
But, beyond all of that, I kinda think it's almost impossible not to love the warm, plucky sound of a kalimba that the song almost opens on, and then definitely later fades out with ❤
@@AndyWitmyer I always took that piano part as exactly how you said. It is nightfall and time to go home. I have listened to this album since it released. I have always been a huge fan of Mitsuda's works, ever since I played Chrono Trigger as a young child. Absolutely upload the rest. Especially Nocturne, which starts in 4/4 with a basic chord pattern, but ends in 3/4 to allow the piano to take a different approach so the violin could put on a very emotional solo
I'm glad anyone took notice of these at all. This was the song that I first stumbled on with this album and it completely blew my mind just how beautiful and expressive it was, without saying a single word. Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did, Ludwig.
Hi! If you're a fan of true crime documentaries, I recommend watching the latest high-quality true crime documentary video I recently shared. Your comments mean a lot to me, so please share your thoughts. Take care of your health, and I hope you take the time to come and show your support. Thank you in advance, buddy!
Massive props to Sal Abruscato for the amazing drumming on "We Hate Everyone". BAD ASS. Also, listening to THIS version of Black No.1 is CLEARLY less serious in tone at the beginning than what ends up on the album (Pete's vocals are so much BRIGHTER here) until they start heavy singing "Loving you is like lovin' the dead" until the end of the song. THEN it's actually (mostly) BETTER than what's on the album, especially that slow down at the end. What a joy to experience this for the first time.
Really appreciate this, I feel like type O never got the recognition they deserved. They were brilliant musicians and made some of the best music but did not get enough recognition, and their brilliance and masterful compositions went over most people’s heads
