Hi! My name is Paula and I love makeup! A lot!!! I am also a proud member of the panning community. You can find me on Instagram @abeautygurumademedoit.
I’m team Natasha too! The Pat Mc Grath shadows have glitter fallout on me and I don’t have time for glitter primer. Good job hitting pan on the Pg palette it is a beautiful color! ❤
Usually I don't care much for the perfume inventories, but using up all of those samples is a milestone I'm excited for! I think it might be possible by end of 2024!
Maybe if you depot those lipsticks into a bigger container you could multitask them as a cream blush and a lipstick and get through them a little bit faster.
It absolutely is a small but amazing community. BAHAHAHA It sure does feel like a hundred years. 😂 OMG if I could finish my last hairspray, I'd be ecstatic!!! That Nutrogena body oil would probably work very well and a cuticle oil too for after you manicures.
Paula, because you have so many lip products in projects right now I'm here with a very humble suggestion 😬 I know very well you don't tend to multitask products and I heard you repeat why many times. However, because the former mascara beauty blush is not very pigmented (if I remember correctly) maybe you could do a sort of a "monochromatic " look to help with the usage of the urban decay samples. Something like using it on the lips but also apply a tiny bit as a blush to get more use as well as spicing up the cream blush, this way you would still use everything as intended 😂 Ps. This year I tried to get back to project pan but IT IS SO HOT the makeup literally melts off my face so absolutely congrats to not let summer stop you!! Can't wait for you next update
The silicone primer would probably work well if your thighs rub during the summer. That’s what I do with the ones that don’t work on my face and then I don’t get any irritation on my thighs from them rubbing. I just used up that philosophy scrub duo by putting it into my shower. I put it on right when I got into the shower. Sometimes I’d leave it on until I finished putting on my conditioner.
I have a lotion on my headboard so that when I get in bed I can slap it on my arms and at least use it a little bc I am really bad at remembering my nighttime routine e as well so I have lip balm and lotion on my headboard so at least I can do those two things.
I've gotten about an extra year out of my super shocks after adding a silicone primer from LA Girl. I'll probably still declutter them in December when they will be 5 years old.
Have you tried mixing a few drops of the body oil into your body lotion before applying? Unsure if that’s how you’re using it or not. I love this project! I chose it as my first project for my channel (started in Feb). Totally understand your being highly motivated to finish your mask, but not motivated to actually use. I hate masking as well. TFS…Lorie 😊
Yay, this is my favourite Project of yours, Paula! You did well using up two items. Maybe you will have the dollar tree body spray and the solid perfume used up by the end of the Project? You’re doing so well 🧡
So I hate the way body oils feel on my skin so I bought one that is called an “in shower body oil” I put it on wet skin then wash it off with body wash!! It absorbs into the skin without it being too greasy!! I definitely would never finish a body oil if I didn’t use it in the shower lol
Doesn’t matter what I came to youtube to watch cuz if Paula uploads then all else can wait lol. But also I once had a lip liner that was definitely too light for me and I just treated it like a lipstick to finish it. First a darker lipliner and fill in the middle with the lighter one and top with a really thin layer of gloss. I doubt I would have used it up otherwise.
Thank you! I appreciate your support! Took me all day to get this video uploaded to the Tube. 😅 I think I will end up doing that with the liner side of the wnw lip product. I might still use a darker lipliner with it too!
Oooh I’ll have to try a silicone primer in a super shock shadow too! Thanks for the tip ❤ great progress on your hairspray! I only have one but I have a small bunch of mousse and detanglers I got to work though.
Hi Paula! Wanted to chime in on the silicone primer - they make an awesome makeup mistake fixer! I use it all the time cleaning up mascara/eyeliner smudges. (I poke myself in the eye more often than I’d like to admit 😆). Just rub it into the makeup and wipe off with a dry towel. Works with some heavy duty lip products as well!
i like how this project of yours isnt rolling, out of all your other projects, 7 left and will be neat to see when you get down to zero to start one up again. (dont get me wrong i love all the other projects that are rolling - just neat to see you with one that isnt - i think you will feel a great sense of accomplishment when you are down to 0 and get to start one up again - where as with the others sometimes i think (imho) you must feel like its never ending lol)
You're in the same part of IL as I am, how'd you do in Mondays storm? We lost a lot of tree limbs and power here. I'm so glad this week's weather is cooler and less humid.
Thanks for asking! Glad to hear you were okay. We got confirmation that a F-1 tornado came through a few blocks away from our house. First ever in my life time!! Some neighbors lost power for 3-5 days and still don’t have cable/internet, but we only lost power for about 2 hours. No real damage to our property either. We consider ourselves to be very lucky.
I am the same. I love opening en finishing makeup, but I kinda never do because I am teriffied of using things up. What if it turns out to be a favorite and I can't buy it anymore......
then just tell (convince lol) your brain that then you get to have fun trying to find a dupe! and its so true this feeling, but then i try to remind myself the goodstuff will just go to waste if you dont finish it and wouldnt it be more shameful/upsetting/wasteful if i bought it, loved it, but then didnt use it up completely because i was afraid of running out and then have to throw it out because its gone bad. then im just hurting its feelings by not using it up completely lol. its still a fight with my brain though! but im getting better and seeing the other side....it wants me to love it and finish it! (and if panning has taught me anything, its that stuff takes wayyyyy longer than i think to use up completely!)
It’s always great getting a notification from you! ❤ progress is progress, and you’re doing great. Don’t be harsh on yourself, you’re finishing some very old products and you’ve hit pan on a blush, almost finished a cream bronzer and you’re using up a powder bronzer. Those aren’t things that happen everyday!
