He will absolutely run over undersized linebackers like Jack Campbell and Alex Anzalone, not to mention Brian Branches problems with tackles. Easy win for Seahawks. Detroits run defense is marginal at best
Detroit's run defense was #2 in the league last year and the Lions added DJ Reader to the middle of that defense. They just held James Conner to 17 yards running, currently the #4 run defense in the league. Marginal at best is shortselling the Lions rush defense.
The rest of the schedule is absolutely insane. There are only two teams left for the rest of the year that we "should" beat, and even NYG are potentially an "any Sunday" team that could cause us issues. Even though the rest of our division is 1-2, they all should be feared. We should be so lucky to split series with all of them. And the rest the schedule is something to cry about.
That's based on last years form, based on this years form so far you'd have to say other than the Bills there is no other team that we can't beat, no doubt there'll be defeats but no team to fear
I truly think that our 2nd rb needs to be macintosh. I feel he is a better rb than charbonet. And I know they trying to get there money from the draft. But they need to give it to macintosh and see what he can do under the sundaynight lights. And I bet he gives us another good 1st back if walker is not able to play. Plus charbonet attacks players when he still has whole room to get extra yards.
Geno's kinda like our hidden gem (He's not hidden to football minds) but casual observers, and fantasy football guys. I equate him to Dame Dollar when he was in Portland. Ppl knew he was cold 🥶 when they saw sports center, but Portland fans saw this every game.
At this point... I'm thinking that the reason Pete pulled the trigger so quickly naming Geno starter over Drew was that he knew that Geno shoulda been the starter a couple of years prior. Long overdue. Better arm. Better use of the field. Better drop back passer. Better QB than Russ. No wonder Geno mad. I'd play mad too.
I love how Geno crapped on all the haters on the day so many overrated young QBs crapped their own bed. Specially Richardson who can’t beat Malik Willis
I think it's a law that Seattle will have one game changing running back that constantly struggles with injury, backed up by guys who can't get a yard. It's the curse of Thomas Rawls.
That's overly harsh to Charbs. He's a decent running back there was just absolutely no room given by the o line and not enough outside attempts by Grubb to possibly remedy that. K9 is amazing but in reality he wouldn't have had a good game yesterday either. He would simply make a handful of those 0-2 yard games into 2-4 yard gains instead. K9 is good enough to turn a horrific offensive line performance into a average "meh" rushing stat line. Charbs is a step below that meaning like most non-special backs he can't compensate in that sense. We give Charbonnet some actual lanes he's turning into chunk plays.
Even if the Broncos got 2 points from the safety (which they did), that's still less than the almost guaranteed 3 points that the Broncos would've gotten if they took the field goal. So, Chris is really crazy for that take
