❤ I agree it’s a great way to look at it. Also to treat yourself the same way. Like if I would NOT want someone I loved treated a certain way then I should NOT make excuses for someone to treat me that way. And more importantly treat others well and be what I want to see in the world. Practice practice practice. He’s spot on! ❤
Things, inherently? Maybe not. But some things enable experiences, often shared experiences, that can and do definitely affect us. I get the sentiment though, but it's not as simple as the soundbyte he's going for.
When I was 13 year old (after not reading books for 5 years besides school books) I bought a book that made me believe again that books are amazing and I remember that moment 25 years later :)
Ok first of all. Context is what matters here. This statement (and what people read into it apperantly) on its own, is stupid af. Lets see. Clothes. You might wont wear the same clothes youre wearing now in 10 years too but right now its a necessity. Electronic devices. Totally depends on the reasons for why you buying them. Headphones, watches, phones etc. all reasonable things to buy if not in an excessive way. (You clearly dont need a new Phone every Year, even more a new Watch every year) but still, they are a necessity too. Utility things. Depends again on the reasons. You need kitchen stuff, you might dont want to life in a house with empty walls or shelfs so decorations are to some degree a necessity although least priority. What do we learn. That statment should not be taken as: Since you wont care 10 years from today about the thing you just bought, you should stop buying things. The statement should be taken as: Since you wont care about most stuff in 10 years you bought today, do not buy things just for the sake of having them. Buy things that you need instead of things you want. Youre Welcome. Have a nice day.
Apa yg baik, tetap masih baik pda kami. Walau makanan yg dijual diselitkan pelbagai racun,yg membinasakan tubuh badan manusia. Kami tetap makan. Kerana, tanpa Izin Tuhan, sesuatu itu takkan bergerak.
What he's saying is, you can buy anything you need, elsewhere. Malls are just glitzy, materialistic, over-priced lures to relieve you of your money. Buy it on-line after deciding what you want beforehand. That's not to say you won't find anything useful in a mall, just that it's all impermanent. He's absolutely right.
They mean benefit u all u people shut up these guys talking are on a whole different level then u they don’t care about sentiment shit like “oh I bought a guitar 20 years ago and I still like it” who care about what u like if it’s not beneficial to u
A camera/GoPro/mobile, woteva...a tripod maybe.. a warm jacket ( if you end up with the camera and go camping)...oh then theres camping equipment if you feel the urge...a nice 2/3/4 person tent, eskis for the BEERs, sleeping bags, air mattress's, annex, a single gas burner incase of "no burning-off/no open fire" , at the very least a fire blanket for bushfire prevention, a billy for a decent morning cuppa, a frypan, freeze dried meats and veg, stock. Made a mean bush stew or two...sounds pretty damn amazing. Maybe you're on an adventure, maybe your car is your home, sadly. Either way, sounds like a pretty chill weekend, with purchases at the MALL, at least here in AUS. Peace
