I heard from someone that they want to schedule the game earlier than usual because of the vice presidential debate being held on Tuesday. I am expecting a 4 PM start time if thats true
I don't know how you forget about that Phillies. My heart tells me the Padres make it to the World Series, but put a gun to my head and I say the Phillies will make it this year
I’m a Padres fan. I agree with everything you wrote. These teams play great baseball ⚾️ against each other despite the injuries BOTH teams have dealt with. The Dodgers were better this week! The Padres can’t let the Dodgers bottom of the order guys get on base with Ohtani coming up, or get “Catchers Interference” calls and expect to win….
Pretty telling... definitely not the best bullpen in mlb like so many people like to say. No run support for starters. Gonna be a short postseason if this is how they play. My confidence is low moving forward
Well played game and both teams have a good chance to come out of the NL. The Tatis fould ball to right was the difference. Should be fun and tense. Buckle up.
Why? Padres are stacked also they would also be the biggest choke artist of the century. One player can’t do it all. If the padres had all the injuries the dodgers have had with the amount of AAA rookies they have brought up pitching wise I’m sure the padres would have given up. It’s been taunting for them you have to give roberts and front office props.
@@jasona9 how getting rid of Martinez, snell and co? They didn’t need to they had to because San Diego is broke no tv deal don’t go there. They still went after names bogarts. Last year they choked with all that talent still couldn’t get it done with hader closing.
You guys would still say that you’d rather have Jake playing over Kim. And this is totally speculative but it just seems like you get so set on the players you like… and I think king definitely deserves to be in the conversation regarding starters. Hes been our most consistent starter all year and he deserves a 1-2 postseason start.
I commented after the Padres win in the first game. I knew as a Pads fan that the Dodgers would have an answer. Great series and yes, we'll see you in October!
All Dodgers fans know the Padres have the better rotation, but it doesn't always translate to a win. Musgrove gave up the lead in the 7th which was kind of unexpected.
@@jasonleetaiwanyou mean better “starting” rotation but this is only due to Glasnow being out. Also, the Padres don’t trust their bullpen and that’s why Musgrove tried to go 7 and failed. The Padres knew they should try to get to Bueller early and failed. Even in Game 1 of this series, it took a freak triple play, to stop the Dodgers. This Dodgers batting line can hurt any time from top to bottom. This game 3 of the series, Will Smith came through after a Muncy walk. Pages hit a monster blast. Mookie came through. Ohtani was his usual good. The game before, it was Ohtani, Teoscar, Lux, and Edman. Freeman getting hits too but usually didn’t produce any runs. I don’t believe Padres fans are too confident with their team. Their bats go cold at the worst times too.
@f430ferrari5 As a Padres fan we have a great bullpen.. but our closer is the issue... but I totally agree about our bats...ice cold... plus I wasn't cool with us partying like we fkn won something...Karma got us...stay humble and move on.. but nope. So we got what we deserved.
@@LessGoooSD_13 you can’t say you have a great bullpen than say the problem is the closer. 😂 Do you honestly believe the Padres have better relief pitcher than the Dodgers. Kopech, Treinen, and Phillips. 👍. Banda and Vesia are good too.
“Sourness”? No, as a San Diego native I’m incredibly proud of this years team….they had to drastically cut payroll and at one point were 50-50, yet turned it on to achieve a 90-Win Season for only the 5th time in franchise history.
@@LessGoooSD_13two nights ago seem like the sd fan base was loud and talking now sitting again with zero trophies in that pathetic club over 30 years of existence and nothing to show lol.
Got what I was hoping for at the season start.....playoff berth and challenge the Dodgers for the division for a change, instead of LA just running away with it. #4 seed is cherry on top
Besides last night, when was the last time Hoeing pitched? That guy is super underrated imo. I know we’re focused on the A S S of the team (Adam Scott Suarez) but given the recent blown saves and almost blown saves I feel like he should be getting more time? Now that Morejon is shaky too it makes sense. Hopefully we see him more in the next few games and into October
Gotta challenge Xanders stolen base, he looked safe. For a team with "no pitching" the dodgers pitchers look pretty good to me. Our BP struggled and no offense last night. 4 hits isn't gonna do it
@@Amir-vw7wtHey dum dum, why don’t you go back and watch the play before calling someone blind. The tag never touched X, or if it did, it wasn’t visible on replay. It should’ve been challenged.
