I'm a student in Greece, and they teach us that in the opposite way. They give us the theory, then take us to the labs and and after that they ask us to solve the theory ourselves and do the simulations. In my opinion, you have to do the theory first, then the simulation and then go to the lab, else you don't know what you are doing in the lab!!!

1st one is an optical structure inside of optical fiber which called Bragg structure (Bragg reflector) and that reflector consist from many semitransparent mirrors (there are can be thousands of them) and works as filter for exact wavelength. Principle is based on reflection of wave from each "mirror" and depends on distance between "mirrors"=L. So finally wave with wavelength =2*n*L (n is average reflection coefficient of Bragg structure) will be almost completely reflected. Rest of wavelengths will be impacted just a little. 2nd one probably is just optical connectors

Hello i must buy a laptop for using with Labview and NI-9237 -> 50kHz per channel for 24 channels. Is it sufficient to run this at laptop with a standard processor ie Ryzen5 6cores 12 threads - it is 15WTdp processor Or do I need something better like 25W Tdp proc? The main question is whether the operation of this overloads the computer's processor?
