Really great everyman's videos. It seems that you think PLTR is the go to software for this shift in tech, finally having the capability in adding value to the bottom line. We've reached a point in tech sophistication where AI/compute can make anticipatory, impactful decisions which ultimately leads to better (and more accountable) decision making that can affect the bottom line, and/or gives us logical justifications for making any decision. For a non tech savvy person, if that's the gist of what you're inferring, then almost every part of life that requires decision-making will eventually be using this type of software. Is that the renaissance you speak of?
Ironically if Wall Street had this tool sooner all the analysts would have been all over Palantir as a good investment.I try not to be resentful but if this tool puts a bunch of them out of a job I will not find it offensive.Maybe they can all take over the coffee boy positions at the firms?.

I asked two AI things, Does JP Morgan employ any electricians? Both say they don't know for sure, but typically, large financial institutions don't directly employ electricians as part of their core workforce. Obviously, the critical need for electricity doesn't imply a need for JP Morgan to have their own electricians. I expect they employ many software engineers, and need to, but increasingly the need will only be because they're locked into their own software. Otherwise, they'll need to employ software engineers as much as they need to employ electricians. And that's not only for JP Morgan. That's just my opinion, and if it gets any feedback, I'll see it as a learning opportunity. @CodeStrap thanks for the video.
Hello sir code, have you played around with saleforce AI agents and data platform seems like they are copying palantir. Or is just buzzwords and vaporware? Would love your thoughts since I don't have enough technical skills.
@@abcdefghijkl5408 Were you at dreamforce? I watched all the keynotes. They claim 2x more reliable and seemed to have a data advantage on training the agents. But then again, they said Nvidia agents models are being used. So no magic sauce?
I think most (almost all) organizations suffer from the same problem. They don't know what they don't know, but think the next evolutionary step in their lifecycle will solve it for them, often because somebody from some other local organization had great success with Technology X. And so for the next 2-3 years, they launch themselves on this journey and eventually conclude they just have different technology problems. As you say, the business value hasn't been delivered, but now they've got a new pile of technology to care and feed for. The somebody then leaves, and is replaced with a new somebody and they had great success with Technology Y. So we move from on-premises technology to the cloud to Containers, Container Orchestration, RESTful APIs, PaaS, Event/Messaging, Service Mesh, Data Mesh, AI/ML, and then the next level of abstraction and significant SaaS pieces. The sad thing is that we know the path, and for most organizations you could even give them a timeline. It almost reminds me of the scene in Good Will Hunting where Matt Damon's character talks to the under-graduate about how his views will shift as he reads new books through every year of his degree. Unfortunately, almost all of them are happy with this illusion of progress within the bounds of their knowledge/experience, rather than taking a look at Palantir. I don't expect I'll ever see Palantir deployed, as I've yet to find a single CIO/CTO with the knowledge, vision and business support to skip the evolutionary steps that everybody else is content playing with.

Snowflake AT&T’s massive data breach deepens crisis for Snowflake seven weeks after hack was disclosed Snowflake has a growing problem on its hands after AT&T said on Friday that data from “nearly all” wireless customers was connected to a breach. Prior to Friday, the most notable companies tied to the Snowflake attack were Advance Auto Parts, LendingTree, Ticketmaster operator Live Nation Entertainment and Santander Bank. Snowflake disclosed the cyberattack in late May and has enlisted the help of CrowdStrike and Alphabet’s Mandiant to investigate.
