what would yall say is more impressive. winning national championships at the high school level when you can recruit, or multiple state championships where you are limited to kids who live within a certain radius of the school, and if they are good enough may leave you and transfer to those aforementioned prep academies?
@@Rickycuesta yeah both are cool just depends on what is better for a players development. i feel bad for guys like cade Cunningham and Scottie Barnes though. especially cade. arguably on the greatest high school team ever to one of he worst teams in nba history last year.
National title , if u bring yo school 3 state tiles , who cares of u leave and go too a power house academy for better comp , look at Dante Allen , he brought his school like 3 state titles, now he at montverde
@@synceresanders4592 its about a players development not what you or i think. leading your hometown high school probably has a higher degree of difficulty though. tyrese maxey played at a traditional high school and if he didn't get at least 20 they would probably lose. if cooper had a 10 point game at Montverde they would probably sill win 90% of the time. it is crazy how growing up watching the McDonalds all American game guards would be averaging like 30 and bigs would get 15 rebounds and 8 blocks.i dont even think cooper flagg averaged 20 his senior year and cade cunningham averaged 11.
@@synceresanders4592 it aint like they cant recruit. most of these schools pluck talented public school kids away from their hometown high schools. very few kids start their 9th grade year at these prep academies. tre johnson for instance spent 3 years at this public high school before he went to link.
it’s gonna be hard to duplicate last years team they were prolly the best hs team ever 5 top 25 players in the starting lineup and they didn’t lose a game if im not mistaken
Ricky, thank you for the video. Do you know what tournament this was? Today's age with some these youngsters talking s#$% and they out there getting their a#$ whoop - the West Oaks team! Youngsters, look at Columbus - keeping their mouths shut and putting down a serious a#$ whooping!
