One of the best camera reviews I've watched on RU-vid, and I've watched heaps. Thankyou. I have a heap of EF lenses, but can't justify the R6 price to replace my 6D. This may be a good option to get into mirrorless Canon on a budget.

The Metabones Speedbooster for M6 MKII is much better option and I would choose it over the Viltrox anytime even considered the significant higher price and a shipment from China (which in my case was extremely fast).
Amazing review! Considering M6 II for 4K video as I already have all the lenses for Canon EF mount. Exactly the reasons you mentioned. And I had no idea that something like Speedbooster 0,71x does existst! Great solution. Now I am really convinced that I'll buy this camera. Thx!
Thanks for the enjoyable video! subbed :) I wonder if the M6 Is this weather sealed? If I understand this right, the M6 uses the same type of lenses as the M50?
I have use to those combination for a year and a half and the result was never close to real FF but always feels lacking for the image quality and performance
You would do a lot better using M6 Mark VI with the Sigma EFM lenses or the Canon EFM 32M. I have the speed booster but I would not use it on the Mark VI. 4K on the Mark VI with the above EFM lenses is a far better solution in my opinion. I use the EF 16-35 in 4K on the EOS R.
I have the exact same set. The weebil-s can do also the eletronic folow focus with m6 II. I also recommend the Ulanzi Falcam Quick Release, that allows you to remove the battery without problems. Nice video!

4k is always to prefer over 1080 not because u need to upload in 4k but because u can cut the video/picture (zoom) x4 and still have 1080 quality. This is why people want as high res as possible. U simple have more to work with
