Tips on what to buy for my beautiful, but old and tired 1972 STD Cirrus. On a budget! (I think it has the original panel and instruments). I have bought a new radio and Flarm… from NavBoys. Tow out gear? One man rigger? S100?

Newish to gliding, but not to car detailing. I find the terms for polish and wax a bit confused with the car world. With cars to use a polish or cutting compound to remove fine scratches etc and use a wax to then protect that newly cut surface, but here the wax does the cutting and the polish is to protect?
The wax in this case is a hardwax which is an abrasive. Usually with cars the wax is used as a sealant and a polish is used as an abrasive. We find it confusing too
9:30 - you can see the damage you've caused. The gelcoat will fog over and if you keep going, you'll burn right through the paint into the fiberglass itself. If you overheat it - there's a chance you can create giant cracks from thermal expansion. In addition - be careful of the heat that can be applied to ailerons and control surfaces such as the spoiler hat. There's WAY less surface area to share the thermal load and you'll overheat the gelcoat.
Hi Jake / Navboys... following your excellent series of Oudie guides, please would there be the opportunity to do a update on electronically declaring tasks via Oudie / Flarm to meet BGA / IGC / FAI requirements - where no paper forms are now accepted... in the UK.... ??? It seems to be a minefield for newbies like me where a lot of technology suddenly appears in cockpits after moving out of training gliders, and understanding how to avoid mistakes in important early flights...
Hello Navboys. I just adquired an Oudie 5 but only shows No GPS data. I live in Brazil but when I turn the device on, just shows somewhere nearby Italy. Could you please help me to solve? Thanks
Would be useful to have a an Oudie Live tutorial and inclusion of Flarm. Current video by someone else seems to be silent. As well as tutorials on all other aspects.
Great effort guys, looks like a good customer service/support facility. Perhaps you could ask people what they'd like to see as a way of building participation?
