The devil is in the details ;) Took me some time to get to this point. But it is possible as you see. I am using 12 so the more you have the better overall tracking gets ;)

@@Snitchie im using 8 hip and chest works amazing but feet and ankle trackers have been a big pain They don't track good at all can't sit down or lay down standing still works the best but moving feet is extremly bad after 10 hours trying to figure it out im now here watching people using their slimes if i can't get them fixed i will just issue an refund and get vive trackers instead

@@nape_soot_asdI am resetting drift every 3 min. With shortcut button. But it might be ur proportions that are off? They ok on upper body but slightly wrong on lower? I’m my 14 setup video I haven’t done mine since.

@@Snitchie I showed a video on the slimevr discord they said it was **thats an issue with the mounting calibration** but today i been doing that for like 20 times restarting trying it over and over again with 0 luck this 2 days have been a pain trying to figure it out and yes i also did follow every instruction they had

Vrchat is what turned me into a dancer, 1,5 years so far. Not stopping. xD Do it! Great way to stay in shape ;)

They hear nothing it’s next door not under or over me. So I can never live in a flat if I can’t jump around 🤣

@@Tirs05 Is there a problem then? :D Mine says don't hear nor feel. Might be construction differences, since ppl outside coming to visit while im dancing, hear nothing until they are ooutside window and see me.

SlimeVR works differently. U need two slimes to get what one vive does. Feet + ankle. And yes max is 8 + hmd total 11 points. SlimeVR server takes all my 4 hip waist chest and neck into two vive. When I look down in steamvr I have 8 vive trackers but. Irl 12 slimes. So don’t worry 🥰

@@Snitchie Yea I would say that the way people are choosing to frame this is less than optimal lol. I was talking to people on the discord and finally figured out that slime server just turns however many trackers you have in to max 11 points in VRC. it seems slime users aren't misleading, but people who are observing from outside of the community not understanding the way it's often simplified to explain

In tracking your Body 12 slimes is better then 3 vive yes. 12 slimes = 8 vive. But the Vive dont drift , slimes drift at some point if moving fast or by time sitting still (depends on type of IMU sensor). But a button press on my controller and drift is reset and body back (takes 2ms). And then there is the cost. 12 slimes in parts = 250usd 8 vive+4 base stations = 2500usd Even 3 vive with 2 base stations is WAY more expencive then 12 slimes ;) Pros and cons in both camps.

@@Snitchie do you think BNO085 IMU is good ? how you do press button and reset ? I'm still new to this future stuff xD

@@DjBlackLotus I started with BMI160 on all trackers. Then went BNO on all less drift. But I shuffle dance, and BNO dont like jumping and stomping they stop working for a few seconds. So I am now using bno on upper body (6) and BMI270 (6) on lower body (see newer videos). If you check my 14 slimevr setup video there is a link to video on how to make button by Zrock35 ^^

What I do in this video I only do this one time ;) And I payed 250USD for my 12 trackers, compared to 2500usd if I where to get same tracking (11 point , 4 base stations) Since I only own Pico 4 I went with a 4090 gpu and slimes FBT. A button for the yaw reset on controller fixes the drift, but I do dream some nights about non drifting legs. So one day in future we upgrade FBT to something else. So many things coming now ;) Oh take a look at my newest dance video and u see slimes performance ;)

They have been correctly calibrated. But I dont use BNO on legs nowadays. I use BMI270 on legs and BNO on upper body (can see in newer dacning videos).

Yo, the neck is like a "scarf" its warm , I dont notice any of my trackers. But if you check my newer videos you will see I dance in shoes now. So trackers are laced onto the shoes. (shoes are also slippery due to glued fake leather sole under). You will be fine with 10 tracekrs. ( feet, ankle, thigh, hip, chest and elbows ) I just experimented and ended up on 12 if I remove the neck I see something different in the mirror when dancing. So for me the more trackers = the more body languge = the more I can express myself. So the neck is basically the dot over the i , hehe. But I highly recommend elbows at least ^^ Regarding feet, depends on avatar, if you use avatar with no feet (robot or furry with paw things) u might not need feet. I shuffle dance so I must have feet and ankle ^^ Good luck and join the slimeVR discord if you wanna go the slimeVR way ^^

Ye I know, but I use a neck tracker also, so then that «gap» is filled. And I aint got straps or the gopro setup others use for chest. My placement directly over solar plexus works gresat, as you can see how the tracking is in my videos. So no need to raise chest. (Got hip, waist, chest and neck = same effect as 2 vive trackers hip and chest. )

Everything standsstill when dancing <3

Do you have trackers on? and they are in steamVR menu? If not there is only sit/stand if half body.

@@Snitchie no i dont have fbt trackers yet. ill get the slimes in august i think. and the curious thing is, one of my friends who started vr chat recently, also has the fbt tracking button there, without having trackers

@@Bursti84 hmmm maybe activated quest 3 oupperbody estimates? Not sure.. But I know if I go in with my pico 4 with no trackers there is just sit/stand there . In august you will fall in love with vrchat all over again ;)

Thanks for comment , wearing puma shuffle shoes now that II have glued slippery soles under. This dance is from December last year, I have advanced since this. And all I do is freestyle , learn a few moves from RU-vid and have fun with it If you check my shorts you can see what I have done the shoes I use now. (Title : Turn any shoe into dancing shoe)

Lol, you misunderstand and make your own mind. Im sitting down and what does ppl do a lot in vr with FBT? they sit down. Now I test drift while sitting and BMI drift b4 BNO does. But I these days dance in BMI270 legs (6 trackers) and BNO on upper body (6), can see in description on newer videos tracker info. Why I am half naked is so you can see the trackers. It works, it made you watch and comment. I thought it would be more interesting to see drift test on person instead of on a chair. So made video, if you like it or hate it don't care ^^ I just wanna spread what I do and hope to inspire others to join in on FBT dancing in VRChat. Do you dance?

Well, it's just a realistic depiction about the issue, in a real setting. Sure, you can debate about his dress code. But it wasn't something out of the ordinary and you also have a clear view of where he put his trackers. He also put something on his chest, which is considerate, so you don't have to stare at his boobs (probably to prevent people like you being intimidated by them). Here's a tip for you: why won't you just end the video if what you see makes you question your feelings? If you need to criticize something please do that in a less insecure manner next time, okay?
