I was at the first Farm Aid in Champaign IL to see all those great bands, including JD Southern. It was a rainy day, windy and cold, and more than one performer simply lost their groove. JD Southern did not.

J.D. wrote this with Glen Frey and Don Henley. Rumor has it J.D. was asked to join the Eagles but said they had enough good singers already. However, he did write songs for them.
JD told us he was asked to be a member, but preferred being a solo artist at the time. He was a fantastic hang... I'm so thankful for our time together and the songs we wrote!
