It's 20th of April, 2024. I've watched Madagascar numerous times, first as a kid, then as a parent, because my kids love all parts and wants to watch it non-stop. Until this day, I could have sworn King Julien was Robin Williams. My mind was blown when I visited IMDb's page of this franchise. What the actual fk?!? I'd be ready to give my life to that claim. He sounds exactly like Robin Williams.
Sacha Baron Cohen is one of the most underrated actors in comedy, he gave us a very popular character in Madagascar, but for me his best role is in the movie The Dictator, the character being Aladden, also Borat, I can't forget that role If they make a hypothetical fourth installment of Madagascar, who returns as King Julien, he is irreplaceable in that role Sacha Baron Cohen es uno de los actores más subestimados de la comedia, nos dio un personaje muy popular en Madagascar, pero para mí su mejor papel es en la película El Dictador, siendo el personaje Aladden, también Borat, no puedo olvidar ese papel. He selected Sri Lankan or South Indian accent maybe because Madagascar was once a part of Indian subcontinent near Srilanka and Tamil Nadu state of India.. He is a real performer....I love every character played by him ..King Julian being the best
Don’t @ me, but even tho Danny Jacobs has had more material to work with, I still prefer Sacha Baron Cohen as the OG King Julien! He’s not too annoying or egotistical and he has more of a bass to his voice when singing Afro Circus/Move It!
