The names Wyatt Pettigrew and RC stuff is what I do. No matter the scale or vehicle type, whether it can go fast, crawl on rocks, float on water, or fly high in the sky. I do it all here on RU-vid. My specially is scale builds that replicate 1:1 vehicles. That’s my specialty because I’ve won Axialfest West 2 years in a row, and still going. But it’s not always RC here, sometimes you may find a couple videos on my real life big rigs! So why not follow along on my RC Adventure!
You can subscribe here on RU-vid and also give me a follow on my instagram @humphrey_rc_adventure

If you still want it, I just finished rebuilding this truck into a very nice looking garbage truck. The purpose for this test is, at the end of the day I have to make money too.
Yep, dropping a cinder block on a plastic toy will break it everybody that has half a brain knows that. What did you think would happen seriously, this isn't a durability test because nobody is going to pay that much money to do stupid stuff like this. Just sounds like somebody is trying to be another whistling diesel but without daddies money, good luck kid you're gonna need it
I also bought 2. I kept one for myself and it will definitely be getting some mods, and the second one I gave to my high school golf team for a raffle prize.
I hate to say it, but I missed the sale. But God is good and I found a brand new one that had been in a flood in some hobby shop back east. So, I scored what ended up being a great truck, servo was the only thing that didn't survive the flood. Stainless steel replacement screw set, and she was good to go. But of course, I fixed the steering with Vitabone bell crank and while I was at it added Vitabone sway bar, steering knuckles, rear axle, front diff housing, shock towers front and rear, Losi aluminum trailing arms and upper links, BETU 70 kg all metal waterproof servo. Added Traxas UDR front shocks dampeners (smooth without springs) to replace Losi's rear dampeners. And probably most important along with tightening the steering, added Traxxas 20 Million weight diff fluid to the center and rear diff. Now she is perfect.
I've had this RC for about a month now and I have to admit that I'm still very excited about this cool RC. With a realistic driving style, it is a great RC to drive, especially on dunes and forest paths. The power and grip is brutal, especially in sand dunes. The only downside I can mention with this RC is that cleaning after a mud bath is a bit laborious because so many body parts have to be removed to get to anything properly. But it is a great fun to play outside with the Losi Hammer Rey.
You need some growing up to do first, before conducting these tests! You might hurt yourself during!!! Do you even in the legal age to handle an RC ...LOL , Check the minimum age on the box first🤣🤣🤣🤣
I need some growing up to do??? I’m not the one using “LOL” and emojis. All jokes aside, I am very much old enough to be using this truck. I would check the box but it got destroyed in the first testing video.
I have an 04 much better it's also got the 4.0 that's the engine you want and you can choose 2wd or 4wd if you got selec trac. That 4.7 is a trash engine and I like to choose when I want 4wd. Only thing is you gotta keep an eye on the front end it's solid axle meaning death wobble and wandering steering. Other than that they run till the end of time. I wish I had independent in the front that's the only thing I like about wk jeeps
This Jeep definitely has its pros and cons. It always being in 4wd kinda sucks, but the independent suspension in the front I absolutely love. But in the end I bought it because I felt it deserved one more life before heading to the junkyard. All my buddies have the 4.0 in their jeeps and they love it.
You clearly don't know what you're talking about. The 4.0 blows head gaskets just as often as the 4.7, the difference is the 4.0 ruins pistons after blowing the head and requires an entire rebuild/replacement. The 4.7 typically just needs a new head gasket and fluids and all is well. The 4.0 also comes with a sketchy transmission where the 4.7 comes with a reliable beefy boi transmission. All chrysler products are a roll of the dice, however with the 4.0 you're rolling the dice twice. Once for the engine and once for the transmission. With the 4.7 you only gotta roll once, and even if you come up short the solution is typically cheaper and easier. Overall both are good choices if you know what you're getting into and you take care of them properly. But any Chrysler product can implode at any point in time. If you want to brag about having a reliable engine you cannot own a mopar/chrysler/stellantis, sorry, not sorry. Every toyota and honda owner is laughing at all of us idiots arguing about which timebomb is more reliable. I've had both and both were kind to me. The 4.0 had 240k miles and was still running but not well, the head was blown for sure. My current 4.7 has 164k and has 0 issues
I have owned both an 07 WK Limited 5.7 Quadradrive II and a 98 ZJ Laredo 4.0 with Selectrac. Both have plusses & minuses: 5.7/545RFE QDII IMHO is the best power train in ANY Jeep, power at all speeds, reliable, and lockers rear and front IFS & much better brakes makes it handle better and no doubt safer at high speeds. Also tows much better. But The old solid front axle Jeeps have better articulation off road. Old school 4x4 with manual shifter less to go wrong. 4.0 liter six very durable except the ones with the crack prone cyl heads. In general repairs much easier on ZJ and cheaper too. Bought the ZJ new bought the WK when it was 2 years old.
The throttle lag is because of the gear ratios. 1st gear is very good but second gear is only a tiny slightly smaller so it’s practically useless. -1st gear feels better to hit hard but Ironically, you have to smash 2nd gear even harder if you want to smoothly transition through 3rd and beyond. This is easier to do from a dead stop btw but remember to smash 2nd.
