We will be sharing videos with you guys about questions we get asked in the shop and also certain builds and parts we have to offer. Thanks for watching!
Hey man great video very descriptive but of course the way my luck works the most important moment for me is at 3:18 and your hands go down off camera. Also, my '08 Fatboy has only 3 wires and they are opposite...looking down from the top where your right thumb is with the secondary lock facing up the orange wire is in the left end socket, the yellow wire is next to it in the 2nd socket from the left, the 3rd socket is empty and the black wire is in the right end socket. Any additional insight you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Will removing the inner fairing give me access to the steering head bolt? I need to tighten it a bit, but don’t see access to it by just removing the outer fairing. Any advice is appreciated
Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been putting off a bar change on my 03 Softail because I’m intimidated by the wiring that runs through the bars. You’ve helped tremendously.
I am unable to remove female receptacle/socket from body using a thick paper clip . I'll order removal tool and try that. If I try this on a male side of other harness (also an MX150 style) I can release with paper clip just as you do here in this video but not on female side. Anyone else with this problem? Any ideas?
I have been fighting this same harness for days now with no luck, RU-vid the hell out of it with no luck untill finally i found your video. You should put more tags in the title so its easier to find
Now I see. I have to pull the white plastic piece up a bit on the male side and then my $30 pin tool will release the broken prong. I have gripped that wire with pliers and pulled so much I hope it’s not damaged inside. Probably wouldn’t have needed the $30 tool either. Thank you.
99% of the time the tire will seat onto the rim ok by itself with a good air supply. On the very rare occassion is a tie down strap or similar required around the cicumferemce of the tire to help seat the bead. Sometimes bouncing the tire on tfloor a few times in different places around the tire can help push the tire's out out ward. Then install air. Good luck.
I have this Kit It was calld the AS23 when I purchased it 6 years ago. Question I was only able to get 1 stem nut on no enough thread 2, would you know why?
I just put a 26 inch rim on a 2001 ultra classic with American suspension Bolton kit. For some reason at low speeds taking off and slowing down to go around corners, it gets a very bad wobble back-and-forth in the handlebars. Any ideas what could cause this? It has brand new tires and the bearings were checked.
05 ultra classic. I want to use the accessories switch to light led's independently. I found the pin (on the 4 pin deutsch) that works (on/off) but is there an accessories plug extension? It's a pita to get to or is there another wire that I can tie into that will work? With the acc. switch.
Hey brother can you tell me do I still need to buy lowering springs if I already have a raked kit, Do I have to remove and open up the forks or can I ride with my stock springs
why anyone would want a harley is beyond me, yet I have one.... its like being married to an abusive wife that ends up leaving you broke and without transportation
Ok who is to say other manufacturers are any better. I did some research and seems Honda has their issues as well. But who races Honda like Harley owners do? Perhaps Harley is no better or worse than any other manufacturer but are under more scrutiny because of the racing spicifics. I lean towards a strong probably. Hot rodding a two cylinder engine is idiotic anyway. It was designed as a low compression engine for a reason. As well as a chain cam drive engine. Of course installing gear drive cams is going to expose weakness in manufacturing.
