Best coach in St Louis sports and of all time and an even greater human being. I was lucky to grow up in St Louis and have him and the rest of the greatest show on turf be my role models. I know he's getting up there in age so I'm just so glad he is in. Now they just gotta get Torry Holt in. And I pray Vermeil will be there for his introduction. Best coach ever man
I believe it was Leroy that the press asked if he was worried that Barry Sanders would be healthy for next weeks game to which he said "we couldnt even stop Lynch so yea I hope hes there". We all know how that next game for Barry Sandwers worked out.
Wha a frigging waste of money!!!!! I'd rather see policmen doing their job of patrolling my neighborhood on a conisitant basis than see this monstrosity!!!!!
I wanted to see Hester's because he wasn't a shoe-in even though I think he should have been he is the best Return Man of all time but I thought he would have a hard time getting in and I wonder if he thought the same thing

I had a friend who saw him play at Kezar Stadium many years ago. Kezar was the home of legends. Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 1978. Entered in his first year of eligibility.
Aww man.I always tear up,because to see all of these guys put in the hard work, become good at what they do in professional football and for them and their family and friends to get the that HoF nod and for them to be emotional is special! You learn to appreciate people who get their just due!🥹👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Bears fan here. Devon Hester will forever be one of my favorite players of my generation. But seeing Steve McMichael get in is one of my favorite moments as a Bears fan in my life. I had the privilege of having dinner with him when I was 14 years old and he’s one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met. The man invited me to sit down and eat ribs with his wife and kids after a Chicago slaughter game. He didn’t have to. I was just annoying little shit wanting to meet a legend. he’s been in the Hall of Fame in my eyes since that night in 2007.. Congrats mongo
As a die hard Notre Dame fan, I can't take ANYTHING away from "The U"! They DEFINITELY put them boys in the league and they DEFINITELY put them boys in the Hall of Fame!
Like they said in his episode on A Football Life, "He was as demanding as you could be as a head coach, but also as compassionate as you could be as a human being." Once again, his hard work finally paid off
I was sitting on a toilet in a Wal Mart store when I first saw this. The first thing that popped into my mind was that Dallas Cowboy great Bob Lilly is now the only one still alive from the class of 1980 & God only knows how much time he has left
I wish I could say he's my favorite number #24 of all time as a Jets fan but unfortunately there was a man by the name of Kobe Bryant who played 20 years for my lakers who wore number 24 for half of his career. So glad to see him get in he's n my top 5 CB's of all time
