Wrong. My building manager changed my locks by saying he was doing a Welfare check and I changed the lock. So he took the lock znd put in a New one. Why? I reported him coming to my home late at night and no notices. Retaliation. Told me he can do shst he wants and refused to fo repairs for 2 years.
This is a great video and I would love to help make such things. However, the narrator said "1938" instead of 1838 at 2:28 :) I don't know if RU-vid allows edits!
You may be entitled to double the amount the landlord withheld from you on your deposit. As if that's going to stop them. 9/10 never sue I'm sure. Good video tho.
This guy killed his wife and then himself. This after taking his son to a Chiefs game before. How terrible do you have to be to kill your wife then yourself leaving your son without any parents?
We’re where do I go? If I’m having problems with the tenant that lives above me always stomping night not walking heavy stomping on purpose for me. Who do I talk to talk to everybody? Nobody seems help.
About the 2 minute mark I believe was shot on the second floor of the Central Bag Company building. I spent many Sat mornings running across the bales of raw burlap awaiting the cutting and sewing machines to produce 100lb potato sacks. Later in my 20's I worked there for my dad. He owned the trucks and trailers that delivered their products. I can still smell the musty odor of the burlap.
Section 8 they don't care, if there a bigwig in town theres no hope there will be retaliation, i cant move no future i constantly fear homelessness, the family moved in to terrorize my life, there is no legal assistance, theve ignored me, to move, my lifes controlled noones allowed to visit, they control my life its taken its toll, they follow me in my personal things, cant sleep nights, norhing bit misery, but i fear the streets, I have been trying seven years on and off giving up, trying to move, whatever my housing worker says I get avoided after. I feel isolated, one winter there was no heat, and when there is people under me spray bug spray up my vents, mail taken, apparently some can do whatever they feel like to those more vulnerable, I simply was in a domestic bad relationship I took the number he found to this place, ( I kept going back) legal aide never helped simply to use my right to move to an apt.again to live life again.
THE BEST BBQ WAS BLACK AMERICAN😢😢 BECAUSE THEY WHERE BBQED THEY WAS SLOW ROASTED FOR ENTERTAINMENT BODY PARTS WAS TAKEN HOME BY THA MASSES N PPL WHO ATTENTED SUCH A HORRIBLE ACT AS TROPHY..... ♥️👑
This is so lame. No wonder why it gets so little attention. It's a progressive self pat on the back that only hipsters and affluent chicks pretend to watch. The reality is that we "communities of color" dont care about your self pleasing hobbies
Spainards brought cattle and horses to america in 1492 when there was no white man or black men in America. The word barbeque comes from the Spanish word barbacoa. That right there tells you who brought barbequing to America. Spainards taught their sons the Mexicans how to barbeque. Native American Indians were the mothers of Mexicans. DNA of a Mexican is 50 percent spainard and 50 percent native American indian. The cattle that spainards brought was eaten by Indians and Mexicans in the 1500s they would barbeque it over flames, Mexicans would build underground pits to barbeque meat. Just that being said should stop all who say their race created barbeque? Remember i said cattle was brought from Spain to America.I want you to think about this, if cattle was in Spain before Christopher Columbus came to America don't you think they knew how to cook cattle meat? There is only one way to cook meat and that would be to barbeque it in a brick oven or open flames? Also if spainards brought horses to america then that would tell you who the first cowboys were the vaqueros? Please stop trying to rewrite Spanish history and take credit for something you black Americans didn't create?
I don't know about this... what about the alternate account sung in "Pretty Boy Floyd" by Woody Guthrie? You should at least be presenting alternative histories.
In the 1950’s, when the wind was right, the horrible smell from the stockyards frequently reached our home near the Wyandotte-Johnson county line, at least 5 miles away. My grade school class were treated to a tour of one of the slaughter houses and the girls luckily still wore head scarves; I can remember wadding mine up and holding it to my mouth in order to breathe without vomiting. That’s what the West Bottoms means to me. But it would be fascinating to see more photos of the times when those stately buildings were built-and before the horrible stockyards invaded. Was there such a time?
White ppl cant see color nor discrimination. Its higher probability to go to jail over the same plant. Killed future millionares in our communities. They always want brown people to interdependent on a system that was built on our backs. Including culture food and indigenous plant's. Whos has the money to get this things. The ppl that had money from years of institutional slavery. Generational wealth that most brown ppl dont have. But overall love the hippies that includes us in the counterculture.
The answer is actually to build the streetcar out even more. Streetcars are awesome, but they need to be more than a novelty, they need to serve wide areas of a city. I know KC is working on another expansion, but they should be planning 5x as many expansions longterm. The other thing the city could do is lend the money for the projects themselves. Do it at a rate lower than what's possible with banks given the fed rate. And with that, you can ask for specific things on new projects (10% of all units be made for low income rentals, 20% be sold to first time home buyers with a restricted HOA amount, etc). And the great thing is that the city ends up getting all this money back over time, so it costs them nothing in the end.
