@@SwiftlyStated. no you don't. you have 20 subs, and you're making a clickbait vid about a 2 month old south park episode where if you're not 5, then you understand where the social commentary is coming from.
@@NitroGummyBear No he's not making what he wants. He literally made a clickbait title, for a south park special. He's literally trying to make things for clickbait. 0 soul, effort, or creativity went into this.
I have watched almost every animated Disney film in my life and I love this short film so magical and realistic that it has to be real for Disney fans like me to see I wish I was there at the studio building and seeing all these amazing beloved Disney characters that all come to life together for this unforgettable reunion of Disney 100 anniversary celebration it really is a dream come true 🥹 🌈 💖
So everyone are saying that Bode is not a great villain at all? Cuz it seems to me it's true. And all of you are reviewing the cartoon as whole, not just Bode.
Weird, the editing is like a blitzkrieg while the writing is unbearably bland. At least you're using your own voice, but there's no emotion, no humor, no self-confident monotony. Be yourself brody, it would be much better that way.
Broooo! What are you talking about, Angstrom Levy is like the most memorable name ever. As soon as I heard it I felt like Ive heard it a thousand times before!
Your editing was good, except for the sound effects like damn, make them just a bit quieter in the future, just because it drowns your commentary out. But I'll be sure to give this short a go some day
Thanks for the feedback! My editing software has the tendency to make sound effects drown out the commentary when they are short loud bursts. And looking at the video I sure hear that it is way more distracting than I thought! I appreciatie it, Thanks for helping me improve!
@@SwiftlyStated. Alright. The animation is not good. Who doesn't appreciate stop motion, but it really clashes with the cgi. It should have either been entirely stop motion or entirely cgi meant to look like stop motion. Captain Yajima is a good example of the latter. I thought the message got confusing near the end. Also, this is a nitpick, but the title is lazy. Nothing buries something more than a basic title like "self".
All reports indicated this was going to be a drudge. Those who say so do not understand ADULT science fiction. This movie was superb. I did not expect that. I did know Sandler was an effective dramatic actor, which is good because I cannot stand his comedy. This is not Star Wars. Sandler could not have been better, and every aspect of this was perfect, including the ending. And Sandler turned in a flawless performance. Nobody else in the role could have done any better. For those who think this movie was dull or slow, stick to the Transformers flicks.
I agree, people definetly have become a bit dull and dont appreciate original media anymore! Although I really do think that this film would have benefited from a different ending...
@@SwiftlyStated. I appreciate the reply and the love; and the excellent, concise video. My disagreement regarding the ending is not without reservations. You make a very good point. But you got me wondering about the ending in the original book, as envisioned by the author. I watched your video immediately after watching the movie, BTW. I really expected something else entirely, and far less satisfying, from this flick. Again, thanks for posting a thoughtful and useful opinion piece.
The director chose a different ending from the book In the book jacob Manage to reach a planet and life exile from earth after his spaceship explodes, fearing having endin like his father, being executed by his country for being a traitor. He Live on a space forest for the rest of his life.
I think the idea that Orion is telling a story to his daughter is neat, if in the end it all turned out to be true, and that it being true was hinted at throughout the future moments; because I agree it's an absolute disservice to all the characters involved for the plot to be a made up story. It had potential, and I don't mind the idea that the plot derails in the end, revealing that their kid is interjecting in the story, but it could've should've done it in a way that didn't make us say "who cares?" because at this point I don't care if Orion asked Sarah out, or if Dark was brought back to life, it doesn't matter
As far as I'm concerned the Wife was as selfish and self absorbed as him and utterly dislikable. The idea that you couildn't possibly wait to break up with your husband and had to do it whilst he is in an incredibly isolated and psychologically fragile state whilst on a mission for all humanity is beyond bafflingly narcissistic. He's a prick, she's a cunt, the spiders an asshole, who cares.
*It's literally a rip-off of the 2017 indie film "Magellan" which won a bunch of awards. But it's literally the same movie almost verbatim, except the ship's AI and entangled-particle alien communicator are replaced with an acid-trip spider character.*
