Probably late, but meet Rebecca in the Serum room and refuse to take her with you. Then you can ask her for healing up to 3 times and when Chris gets poisoned by Yawn she will bring him to the Serum room automatically, without playing as her. If you got the second floor, you either first met Rebecca in the hall with still breathing Richard and didn't bring him Serum in 7 minutes, or after the Yawn fight brought Serum to poisoned Chris in more than 4 minutes. If you do that in less than 4 minutes, Rebecca won't get into trouble at all, instead you'll have to cook V-Jolt as her in the dormitory to weaken the Plant 42.

Um, did you by chance, catch the implication of this game? Canonically, the only thing of note is that, while Chris was escaping with Claire to safety, she fell asleep and had this nightmare. Don't trust the mistranslated dialogue. They're horrible. Steve calling Claire Sis is most likely a mistranslation, as he even called that big spider Sis. Claire never calls him Bro (This is in response to a comment by Alyson court that implies in CVX Claire took steve like a younger brother, showing him how to survive a boihazard, which NEVER HAPPENS in CVX, but only happens in DSC). Read one file called "monologue of Claire" with the fact in mind that Claire actually grew to have romantic feelings for Steve by the end of his life, and you'll see how depressing this game actually is. thanks for the cutscenes.
