Do everything it says in the video and trust that in the end you will be able to remove it. I had two extensions, both Funny Tool Redirect and ISEEK, and I managed to eliminate both. Thank you very much for the video!!
Don't get suckered into buying Combo Cleaner if you need it to remove Funny Tool - it doesn't. I paid £38 for 6 months of access to Combo Cleaner as I was desperate to get rid of Funny Tool and its related malware, and the Cleaner didn't even detect it let alone clean it. There is more than one RU-vid video that recommends this piece of shit software, it wouldn't surprise me if it was the software company that was making the videos.
I tried in many different ways but this was the only one that worked for me, try other methods, and if nothing works you should reset the computer... (sorry if my english is bad i'm italian)
For people that cant open it with administrator pres windows key+R type C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe and paste the code from disc in there then follow the steps from the vid
if u cant still remove the extension, go to chrome then click the three dots on the corner then "extensions" after u will need to find the extension that u cant remove, now remember the ID that is under the extension name, open registry editor the click "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" then "software" then scroll down click "WOW6432Node" then scroll down and click "policies" then "google" click "Chrome" then click "extensions" and if u see the ID of the extension u saw in chrome u want to right click with mouse then delete, after that close chrome and open chrome again and the extension should be deleted. Hopefully it helped someone.
Guys to fix this just delete whatever gave you your malware. Then find the extension id in extensions using advanced mode and copy it. Go to registry and delete any and everything that contains that ID which will delete or at the bare minimum deactivate it so it can not do anything. Remember to create a restore point incase it breaks your pc.
