I think it's quite ridiculous! The volume of those is insane! Why does the whole population have to listen to war sirens because of one part of the population?? Kids are napping, people are working from home, elders are resting, pets are going crazy. Imagine if a Mosque was blaring war sirens. It would have been outlawed immediately. And it's one thing if you hear something beautiful as church bells or a prayer and completely different when a traumatizing war siren blasts throughout the whole neighborhood! Additionally, according to Talmud, they are supposed to blow a horn of a goat, not a war siren! They adapted this practice only after WW2 to keep their people in constant fear of Holocaust and make them reproduce. So this has NOTHING to do with religion, but psychological manipulation. Here is an article about people complaining. File 311 complaints. This is against the noise pollution laws and don't know why one group feels entitled to be above the law, while making everyone suffer. The entitlement 🤦🏽♀️Infuriating. abc7ny.com/bedford-stuyvesant-brooklyn-shabbat-siren/1576049/
Growing up between the south bronx & washington heights I remember seeing these beauties on the Bx 3, Bx 11 , Bx 13 , Bx 35 & Bx 36 when these were still brand spankin’ new with the grey rims and the black doors. Back in those days you would get these running alongside the gmc rts’s. Seems like it was a different lifetime now, but in reality only my childhood, 20 something years ago almost 30 something 😢
Ex Foothill Transit either F1200 or F1300 used to be on 195, 197, 292, and 482 haven't used them in years. I was wondering what became of them. My old ride through Pomona CA. I probably rode that bus.

just found this video from going on an internet rabbit hole about my old “school” buses! I probably rode this bus many times between 2009-2015 as my Jr/Sr high bus (we usually had the same driver each day, but the buses were either this one or a plainer fishbowl, or a newer bus with AC if we were lucky lol) - getting the “confetti” bus meant we’d at least have cushioned seats 😂
The problem is, the solenoid is stuck, and the chopper keeps buzzing. another problem is do you notice that the blower is pointing down? It’s probably from A loose Bolt
