After living with PD for over 15 years why is my husband only starting the night terror's and lashing out? I had to move out of the bedroom because I was tired of being hit.
Been following this advice for two weeks, was diagnosed five months ago and so far have a left arm mild tremor, I'm fighting this and started exercising every single day, a combination of swimming, lifting weights, fast walking on a treadmill as well as giving up sugar, carbs, and gluten,. Also taking supplements, this really sucks and takes a serious commitment. Listen to this does give people like me hope and sets us on the right path, thank you for your research.
I am going to incorporate More of the foods that are recommended and eliminate the ones that are not good for my significant other’s PD. He already eats good, a lot of fresh veggies, little dairy , no pork or beef. He likes to bake bread though, so that’s a bit of a problem. How does one become part of the study you mentioned?
One cannot care for their general health if we feel so rotton from the Parkinsons! A doctor needs to keep patients parkinsons under good contol in order for them to be able to excercise. I do the best i can my doctor doesn't leaves me miserable.
So I lived in the Sacramento valley from age of 18 to age 45. How do I access your information about what pesticides I was exposed to? They used to burn the rice fields every year, the pollution was horrible.
Appreciate the content. Question: Why has the research community neglected comment or positive support for the electrical and red light wearable devices either available or being studied ?
While I understand that stem cells may be converted to dopaminergic cells and generate Dopamine after implantation, I do not understand how the wiring of the pathways (nigro-striatal etc.) gets instructed and implemented?

Stress is bad. Watching too many videos like this will stress you out. “Do this!”, “Don’t do this@, “yogurt is bad”, “yogurt is fine”. Turn this crap off. Go take a walk and get a good night’s sleep.
. Dyskinesia I present an answer, a statement in recognition of the naysayers. You point out that B1 did not improve your Bowling score therefore you cannot endorse the therapy. Doctor Costantini’s statement: “We observed that the right dose of B1, thiamine hci can lead to an improvement of the symptoms between 50 and 80-90%, but in order to push towards the complete regression of the symptoms the correct dose of l-dopa should be coupled to power the dopaminergic motor circuits. L-dopa then shall no longer lead to dyskinesia if used together with the high dose thiamine.”

Yes, this is a very good point. I have been following Laurie Mischley for a while and attended her classes, the data she gathered is predominantly from the US so European data will be slightly different, have no doubts, especially when it comes to food. For example chicken is not chlorinated in Europe and I do not believe it will have such a a negative effect on people with PD in Europe. I spoke to several nutritionists and dieticians in the UK for example who work with people with PD and they all were very surprise with the negative impact of chicken consumption. Still, amazing data collection by Laurie over those years and some brilliant indicators what to do to manage PD better.
Hi I was diagnosed with PD in 2020. In looking back I now know why I couldn’t stand up straight after getting off my bike during Ironman Canada in 1998. Despite being 105 degrees I finished in 10:38. I’ve done a total of 18 Ironmans and many other races throughout the years. Now four years after my diagnosis I lead an active life including triathlon, skiing, hitting the gym and I still play hockey scoring my share of goals. All of this while being on no drugs. I’ll be 60 in June. I have a vo2 max of 50. Excercise has saved my quality of life. I do between 7 and 10 hours per week. Keep spreading the word Doctor!

Look at the enormous funding. That needs to be protected by doctors because it feeds them. Take patients off statins, feed them a diet high in saturated fats, and sit back and watch the results. The brain is 25% cholesterol. The war on cholesterol, aided by statins, is destroying our bodies and minds. Cholesterol is not the prime cause of cardiovascular disease. Insulin resistance is, caused by sugar and carbs.
Excellent talk. I have had PD since 2000 and see no doctors anymore due to failure of good care. Last weekend I spent hours in the ER due to fecal bowel impaction, very painful. Thank you, Doctor.
