I seen a few videos on how to change the backplate. You’re by far the best on explaining on how to change the backplate.

If you want to replace it with a auto sear then you have to keep the slide on and change it the same way demonstrated in this video.

There's a lot of ways to do this. Marker your mags(different colors and/or write the caliber), color code your mags(like you did). Buy the 300 blk specific mags. Putting rubber bands on them. I would suggest that you make your 300blk dedicated mags the black ones, and your fde/painted fpr 5.56. For logical reasons, 300 blackout=black. Also, 300blk is mainly for night ops so black as well.

Last year I received a colt combat commander 45 for my birthday. This year I received a Colt Defender 45. Both blued are they are outstanding shooters! Question... Both of mine came with one Magazine. Did Colt decide 1 mag as opposed to 2 or did my LGS rip me off? Thanks! BTW.... Next acquisition will be the newly released Colt Commander in 38 super :).

Not that it would happen, but over time & if moisture leaked into the can, the cardboard boxes could cause the ammo to rust b/c cardboard retains moisture... keep it loosie goosie, just in case.

I’m the opposite. Black mags for 300blk to fit the name. Also I found myself using metal mags on my 5.56 and polymer on the 300blk to help a lil further

I have two polo K’s in jail. Can’t wait for them to get approved. Currently at day 49 as a 1RP Trust. Andrew from OCL said that he’d paint them black to fde for anyone who wanted one but couldn’t find one in stock for about $40 if I remember right. I’m sure he’d do fde to black as well.
