Great analysis great film. I think it can be argued that deliberately sending someone to prison with the knowledge that they would be killed is an act of pure evil, as it involves callously disregarding their right to life and prioritizing personal motives over basic human decency regardless of the criminals crimes.
I can't get over the fact that an ape was able to pull off a false flag operation. I feel like while Caesar was way more diplomatic; Koba had a more tactical and militaristic mind.
The timeline of the 1940’s-1950’s doesn’t work. In Mockingjay Plutarch has a conversation lamenting the loss of lost technology and weapons such as chemical warfare, drones, & satellites. I’d put it in line with at least the 1980’s possibly even later. Possibly much later.
I won't lie. Tighten is the kind of villain one can relate and sympathies with in many ways. After all, he was bullied and cast off for his nerdy, awkward self, something everyone had experienced in their youth. And the only escape he had from those awful realities was to retreat to movies, TV shows, comics, video games, and the internet for comfort. In some way, I kind of relate to that. And him turning bad when being turned into someone with superpowers was the result of all that anger and hate bottled-up within him from the years of torment and rejection he endured just because of his nerdy self. If only he had better support and help from his family and friends, and never had his body altered by Mega Mind to be a new superhero, then he probably would not have turned evil. Here are some villains you should do Analyzing Evil videos on. 1. Will Teasle (Rambo: First Blood) 2. Dean Walcott (Patch Adams) 3. Queen Chrysalis (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) 4. Tempest Shadow (My Little Pony: The Movie (2017)) 5. Prince John (Disney's Robin Hood) 6. Dawn Bellwether (Zootopia) 7. Warden Drumgoole (Lock Up) 8. Admiral Sakazuki, aka Akainu (One Piece) 9. The Marines/World Government/Celestial Dragons (One Piece) 10. Sergeant Major Phillip Dickerson (Good Morning, Vietnam)
Attention Men, please don’t cheat. Dan Gallagher’s life became a nightmare as the scenes progressed and he almost became a murderer towards the end of the movie. Fatal Attraction is more than a cinematic masterpiece, it’s a cautionary tale every man should study. A men’s ego loves to hear how handsome we are, how she stood up another guy for him, how being discreet is welcome and encouraged. Alex actually gave Dan a few “outs” at the restaurant however his ego (our ego) wants the unknown and unexpected. It’s simply uncomplicated excitement …but it’s all a lie gentlemen. Attention Women, even though Alex is bat shit crazy she clearly understands what makes a man’s dick rock hard. The dreamy eyes, her seductive body language and when Dan said, “I can’t come over” Alex hit him with, “I will be a good girl”. 😳 🚙 💨 💨💨 Dan’s wife played by the gorgeous Anne Archer is 10x finer than Alex but Alex spoke directly to Dan’s inner animal. Women don’t deny the animal, use it to your advantage. Instead of going straight home after the book signing Dan and his wife should have a fucked in the car. Imagine that 🔥🔥 Kids sleeping in your bed, the routine of paying bills and listening to stories about Susy & Jim at the office is just excruciating boring. Remember the brain and the genitals needs to be stimulated for the relationship to thrive. Men, express what you desire but if you cheat you will lose all of your bargaining power. 🍿🍿
Can we all agree that Hal is basically Homelander from The Boys? Sure Homelander's not that "nice guy", but when you look into it more, both receiving superpowers due to a scientific chemical, feeling a big sense of entitlement for love and attention they both believe they deserve, just because they're powerful enough to get away with anything, only to become evil when they both don't get want they want. In fact, the quote "All you're gifts, your powers, and you squander them for your own personal gain?!", best describes both of them.
One of the big things to think about, Vic didn't really change much. For all his brutality and corruption, he didn't make Farmington any safer nor did he create any lasting change. Farmington is still a crime infested shithole, so basically all he did was for nothing. Great video man, and there's a lot of great villains you could talk about from this show like Armadillo, Antwon, Margos, Shane, Aceveda (though he zigzags between villain and anti-hero), Kavanaugh, and maybe the other Strike Team members in general (though I have a soft spot for Lem and I don't know if I can bring myself to label him a true villain.)
Youre scaling is wrong considering evil being on a planetary scale does mean it is less evil to a being that's on a universal or galactic scale, since planetary evil is closed to a planet scale cuase that's the limitation planet size and if they limit is expanded to universe or galactic scale they would be on that level. I'm also amazed you put Joker so low maybe cause you didnt put joker proper/main continuity joker maybe but still and also fiction evil can never compare to real life evil of humanity on a side note.
The seemingly random acts of depravity the Judge commits and his apparent appreciation of nature reminds me of Satan weeping in John Miltons Paradise Lost when he flies to the garden to tempt Adam and Eve but because of his demonic pride cannot help but ruin its innocence becuase he cannot rule over it.
Is it truly Hals fault that others got the opportunity to have better role models than him? Even tho Megamind grew up to be bullied and rejected, he was able to manipulate and lie to get a shot at Roxanne (because Roxanne was willing to give her attention to that type of person) and in doing so, she was able to show Megamind what awaits him if he got his act together. Thus Megamind obtained a role model, even though it was through dishonest, manipulative tactics.
I mean Hal could have gotten a clue that his attempts to hit on Roxanne weren't working and taken a step back to realize his behavior was the problem, not Roxy
@@jordanloux3883 for sure, that would be the honorable thing to do. Or he could have completely fabricated a personality to manipulate her into liking him. Worked for Will Ferrell
@@bohemianprince7944 Yeah, and Megamind KNEW it was wrong but kept going because of negative self esteem. He feels so bad about it that he turns himself in to the police out of a sense of shame and guilt.
I actually felt sorry for her at first, because I think she was really into him, but the writers did a good job of turning the viewers against her as soon as she started using his family to get to him and all that other extreme stuff. Still, I thought the whole thing was tragic and sad that she got killed in the end, all she wanted was him really. Maybe that was young naive me watching the film back in the day, I might have to watch it again.
